I hear about books and causes all the time, and this one really
spoke to me. The latest book, which is a true celebrity cookbook
with family recipes, is one I think everyone will enjoy. The fact
that proceeds go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is all
the more reason people should find it. As parents, we sometimes
want to give to causes like these but we forget to follow
through. This cookbook with recipes from Jennifer Aniston, Betty
White, Jay Leno and Mario Lopez, among others is something that
families will enjoy. There are family breakfast ideas, lunches,
family dinners and desserts along with little stories from the
celebrities on why they liked it or which family member first
made it for them. It is a worthy cause and fun. --Carol

Family recipes always have a place at the table. Sharing
childhood favorites is one of the best ways I know to give
friends a taste of who you really are. Nick Katsoris proves this
with this whimsical recipe project he conjured up. --FOX News
Communities of all kinds put together favorite recipe
compilations, and although this book features a celebrity
community, there s a similar quaintness to it. The book opens
with a story about a lamb, Loukoumi, and her friends, a dog, a
monkey, and a cat, that are hungry. The cast of cartoon animals
joins Aunt Cat Cora, who gives tips about making a cake. The
recipes follow, divided into sections: Weekend Breakfasts,
Lunchtime Favorites, After School Snacks, Family Meals, and
Delicious Desserts. --School Library Journal
