Fantastic Dehydrator – Fresh Snacks Made Easy!
The Food Dehydrator works wonderfully! It’s easy to use, runs quietly, and dries fruits, veggies, and even jerky perfectly. I love being able to make healthy snacks at home without any added sugar or preservatives. The trays are easy to clean, and the results are consistently great. It’s a great addition to my kitchen—highly recommend for anyone who loves homemade, long-lasting snacks!

Perfect dehydrator.
Perfect size dehydrator. 7 trays are decent size. I can fit 4 pounds of meat easily on 6 trays with a little room to spare on 2 of the trays. So it’ll fit 5 pounds for sure using the 7th tray. So much easier than the old school tower dehydrator. The fan is quiet and everything is easy to operate. It comes with 2 plastic jerky trays. Would be awesome if it came with 7 (one for each tray). Wouldn’t recommend putting stuff directly on the wire racks. But you can buy food grade silicon mats for it which are inexpensive. I bought the mats, and clean up is a breeze. Set the temp and time and pretty much forget about it. I turn my trays at halfway, but you honestly don’t need to. It evenly distributed the heat. Using the old tower dehydrator, I always had to rotate my trays from bottom to top and etc every few hours. This dehydrator makes everything simple and easy. I’ve used it a handful of times now. Started off with just one pound of meat to understand it. And now doing 4-5 pounds of meat at a time. Comes with a recipe book, which is a good reference with temps and times for a lot of stuff if you’ve never used a dehydrator. It makes it easy to just open the book and figure out what temp for what ever you are trying to make. I’m happy you can set a certain temp for a certain time and not have to constantly check on your stuff. Used a tower dehydrator for years just bc that’s how I was raised. But so glad I got this. Made my life so much easier. I no longer have to constantly check to make sure everything is getting dehydrated properly, and constantly check my tower trays. Would recommend to anyone that would like to start dehydrating things, as well as to people that have been dehydrating for years using a tower tray system. This dehydrator is worth it to me and I’ll continue to use it for as long as I can.

Works great and saves time
I had gone through three of the plastic type round dehydrators. After going through cracked trays that I couldn’t find replacements for or cost almost as much as total hydrator I decided to to invest in a more practical solution. When the new hydrator came I was a little surprised by size and weight. It was about the size and weight of my 800 watt microwave. Simple to use and the stainless steel trays are easy to clean. I am confident that the units durability will last much much longer then any I have purchased before. There is no question as to the taste of final product being dehydrated. I use mostly for making ground chicken or ground turkey treats for our pups and grand pups. So far after a week I am on the fourth pound of ground meat and (two pounds of steak strips for myself 😋😋). I feel that the way it is made and as often as I use it the value for the money is easily justified. For two pounds of ground meat it only uses four full trays and a little on the fifth. I could easily dehydrate five pounds of ground meat at a time. It dehydrates much more evenly and quicker then any of the round plastic ones I have used. However, big difference in wattage. Must make sure you do not overload the circuits you use for this unit. Another reminder is to be sure to use in an open area. It does get hot and blows out hot air on top vent. I also like the visual temp and count down timer. If your tired of using the plastic dehydrators and running into replacing the shelves then I suggest you upgrade. This unit I would recommend.

Good, fast but tricky to set temp and time
Works fast but it is tricky to set the time and temperature, which tends to go back to the original setting very quickly. But it is a quiet machine and holds a lot.

Pretty darned useful!
The latest version has quite a few more slots for trays in it. At first I didn't like it; that's way too tight for many of the things that I dry. But after using it for a while, I really like it. I can cram trays real tight for very flat things like banana or pickle slices , or I can space them out for big bushy things like some herbs like mugwort. The new timer reaches to 48 hours, too. It even appears to be fairly precise; that's not needful, but it's nice on a dehydrator. The temperature range also is pretty broad; and that is really useful. It actually dehydrates jerky pretty darned well on the high end, and it doesn't burn the herbs on the low end. Much respect.

It works.
Bought this as a gift for my sister. She says it works Great! Having 10 racks might be a lot for some people but she makes dog treats, (and people food), with hers. First use was sliced sweet potato. Her pets love them and they are a 100% natural alternative to store bought stuff.

Great capacity, easy to use, consistent temp, super quiet fan
I read many independent product reviews which indicated the 10 tray unit was the best value. I also read many of the 1-star reviews. Figured I would go for it. Like any electronic devices, it will more than likely work like a champ or, less likely, fail miserably from the get go. I have had the unit running non-stop for over a week now making raisins. Nothing but praise for this dehydrator. Great capacity. I was able to put something like 15 lbs of grapes in. Definitely needed the fine mesh silicone material because the shelf grate spacing is pretty big. Heating top to bottom is fairly even. The bottom 3 or 4 shelves get less warm. From left to right the units heats more on the right half due to the rotation direction of the fan. No surprise as it is a glorified hair dryer. This was no big deal as I just rotated the shelf periodically 180 degrees to get more even work done. I haven't instrumented with a thermometer to test heating consistancy but it seems to be very stable otherwise I would have severely baked grapes. So temperature control is good. The biggest surpirses were the temperature setting resolution and how dang quiet the fan is . The manual seemed to indicate that this would jump by 5 degree intervals. Nope - 1 degree resolution. The 48 hour timer is nice. You can increase the run time whenever you want, adding or subtracting time as needed. Same with the temperature. And like I previously mentioned, been running non-stop for over a week at 120F. The unit's outer case is injection molded plastic which was initially a concern but I have the unit on a metal cabinet in the garage just in case. The heat exhausted from the unit is keeping the garage pleasantly warm. I imagine operating inside would warm the house nicely. The outer case does get warmer toward the top front where the controls are which, as an electrical engineer, concerns me but it isn't so hot that you can't touch it. Shelves slide in and out easily which suprised me as the interior seems to be fabricated from a plastic as well. So far I haven't noticed any deformation of the interior as shelves continue to slide well. The door is rubs a little on the bottom because the molding wasn't trimmed quite enough. No big deal. When you first operate the unit, you would be wise to heed the instructions and run for at least 1/2 hour to burn out the incidental oils left on the fan motor and heater from the manufacturing process. It is no big deal. It does smell but folks, it is not out of the ordinary. I ran mine for over an hour at 165 until the odor dissapated enough for me to be confident I wasn't going to get vaporized oil on my grapes. Overall, so far, worth the money. I've made almost 10 lbs of raisins. Looking forward to making apple and banana chips. Fingers crossed the unit continues to operate as well.
