Description

Chandni is the story of how love takes the life of three people and weaves them together into a beautifully dramatic love story, filled with beautiful colours of pain and passion. The film was made and released and soon after the release, it became a superhit and marked the beginning of the era of romanticism. Sri Devi is the soul of the movie. She never looked as beautiful as in Chandni. She doesn t play the character but live it. She looks amazing in her white salwar kameez . As everyone knows she excels in all spheres of acting, may it be romance, comedy, emotional scene, she does them all brilliantly. And this movie showcases her talent in this field. She looks vulnerable throughout but latter half presents her as a lady of substance. Her dance steps are again beautiful and her classical dance leaves u half-dead. Though the story was women oriented and there wasn t much scope for the male characters but even then Rishi was able to leave a mark on the screen. Though even in this movie he s not been able to come out of his chocolatty image. Vinod Khanna, leaves an impact on the audience. Actually, if I ll say that instead of Rishi, Vinod is the real hero of the movie. He played his part so well that audience empathizes with him. He, as a widower, has emoted the feelings fairly well. He makes you ponder over the fact that why this happened to him??? Yash Chopra. He presents simple things in such a way that they no more appear simple. He s always entitled as the leader than the follower. And with his CHANDNI, he started the era of romance. CHANDNI, is not the movie of any actor nut the director.
