Very good quality dog food.
Our dog loves this food. It's the only one that she hasn't got bored with. Also according to a dog food comparison website - this one is very nutritious and healthy for them. A bonus is that it's very good value for money.

Tasty kibble, but let down by size of pellets
They recently changed to a larger size kibble abd my dog will no longer eat it. I have to crush it with my meat tenderiserbefire she'll eat it. Beforehand it was great hence only 4 stars

A game changer for us
I did a lot of research before buying this dog food. I was previously paying an absolute fortune for dog food for my saluki who has digestive issues. I went on a website which compares the nutritional information of dog foods and I was delighted to see how highly this is rated, especially as it comes in at a really good price. I can honestly say it’s the first time in years that I have seen my dog devour a whole bowl of dog food in 1 sitting and look forward to his meal times. We also tried him on the Salmon but he prefers the chicken to any of the other flavours. The kibble doesn’t smell unpleasant compared to some dog foods and is very small which makes it easy to eat. I can definitely see that provided my Dog it’s not over fed, then his poo is smaller & firmer to o & less gas. It has been a very cost-effective move for us and the savings over a month are really quite considerable. He loves the taste and I would recommend it for anybody to try.

Not as good as I had hoped for.
Disappointed. This was bought to transition our Mini Doodle from Puppy kibble to Adult. She has been fed Orijen Puppy since 15 weeks and has thrived on that, but it's incredibly expensive and we wanted to look for something a little more wallet friendly for her longer term. We dived right in with an order for several bags making the most of Amazon's vouchers and Sub&Save offers. After a 4 week transition period. She has been on this and no other dry for 2 weeks. During the 6 weeks of transition she has not had a single poo that looks 'right' dark, smelly, sticky, soft, very wet, but nothing 'normal' for her. She has been supplementedwith Protexin Pro-Fibre and Prokolin paste frequently for loose stools since this has been increased in her diet. She's struggled to eat the recommended amount at each morning and evening feed and walks away with quite a large amount still in her bowl, she's neither fussy nor spoiled but the previous brand had a different smell due to the chicken, turkey and fish protein combo rather than just single source. Notably she has had a smelly ear for the past few days too and was at the vet with it today, first time she's had any ear issues and vet believes that along with her toilet issues this could be food related. She's left with a bottle of medicated drops and a steroid injection to reduce the swelling with a £60 bill to boot. Don't believe it's a chicken meat protein allergy so could be down to the rice/oats bulking the kibble to keep the price sensible. Worth noting that the food itself has a rough texture, there are small ground husks at the bottom of each bag opened so far. Not just the usual kibble powder that would be expected. I've seen some very mixed reviews for this food and understand why, I think if you've had a dog on a lower quality 'supermarket shelf' brand like Bakers or Wagg then this would be amazing for them, but if you've had them on real quality food this could be a struggle. I'm off to the big green pet store for a bag of Orijen and will be adding this back in to her diet to remove the chances of trying to save money on food and spending it at the vet instead. Though I'd be happy to be proved wrong and give this a 2nd chance if the ears repeat on the other brand. Could be a coincidence but I'm not convinced.

Keeping a little shichon happy!
We were looking for a dog food that was better than the one she was on before. I used a nutritional comparison website and this came out as one of the best for value. It wasn’t the absolute highest score overall, but compared to the previous food (which was about £13 more) this one actually had noticeably more protein and less bad stuff, so it felt like very good value. My dog doesn’t really go crazy for any food to be honest, so I can’t say she gets excited about it — but that’s normal for her. I do usually end up hand-feeding it (yes… I know 😂). When I do though, she happily eats it and doesn’t refuse it. It’s almost like she remembers she likes it once the first kibble goes down her and then keeps wanting more. One thing I have noticed since switching is that her stools are firmer, which usually suggests the food suits her digestion better, another reason why we tried this kibble. Overall it seems like a solid quality food with good ingredients for the price, and it’s worked well for us so far.
