Just wanted to leave a review for this item - and I haven't even been asked to! Occasionally when my eyes get really dry, I struggle to remove a lens, sometimes it has been painful digging away in my eye trying to get a lens out. I googled this problem and came across these and so bought them. I guess I have had to use them about four times now and they are brilliant. Wet the end of the sucker and gently press on the lens in your eye and, out it comes. At this price they are a bargain. I have one set in my wash bag, one in the bathroom, one in the car. These really are an answer to a 'sticky' (pun intended) problem and work so well. I would recommend these to anyone. Please Note: I am a wearer of HARD lenses NOT SOFT. These may not work on soft lenses.

I bought these and also another more expensive model. I have hard lenses; as emphasised by others, this is significant. The body of the remover is solid, so there is no control over the suction. The more expensive model was hollow, in theory giving control - squeeze to release. However, I ended up using these not the expensive one. The reason is that the diameter of these is nice and small, making it easier to get full contact around a rather small hard lens. The more expensive model hard a larger diameter, making it harder to hit the target well enough. Also the hollw model turned out to be rather stiff, making control too difficult to be useful. In summary, I would happily recommend these for hard lenses., efficient and very good value.

this is great in terms of how much you get for your money but this product does not live up to its title when it claims to be a "remover" My goodness, I've never had the feeling of my whole eyeball being suctioned out before because that's was it does! it grips on your eye and not the contact itself, definitely don't use this if you have soft lenses, given the other three to my friends to see if they could hack it but they experienced the same feeling I did, THIS IS ONLY GOOD AT INSERTING CONTACTS, NOT REMOVING THEM FROM YOUR DELICATE EYE.

These little plungers are a godsend if your contact lens gets stuck somewhere other than where it should be. I have gas permeable lenses and keep one of the plungers in my handbag for emergencies.
