Want to Tame EMF from Router? Here's the best answer!
I looked around for a long time before I settled on this box unit and it is the BEST! This is a Faraday Cage (fancy term for any wire mesh box that contains EMF produced inside and shields from EMF coming in from outside). The design thinks of several things that other brands do not. (1) it is a substantial heavy duty wire cage that really is tough and will go the distance. (2) The unit is designed to allow most routers and their wiring to fit without problems. (3) The unit splits into top and bottom halves so you DO NOT have to disconnect any power or connector wires to set it up. This is mission critical as when you unplug your router, you will likely erase all settings which means you will need to reset them yourself (good luck) or pay a service call to have your provider send out someone who knows what they are doing. With this unit, all you do is divide the box, fold in the router and wires, ease the other half into place - and VOILA! You are in business! I used an EMF meter to measure EMS output of the router OFF, RUNNING BEFORE and RUNNING AFTER and this unit returned the EMF output to the same as it was with the router OFF. This one works!

Works great!
Works great. I know this because I have to tilt the lid back a little to allow more of the wifi to reach the back room.

Well built Faraday cage designed to accommodate most current router/modems.
This well built Faraday cage offers protection against electromagnetic radiation from router/modems used for wireless Internet service. There is inevitably some degradation in signal strength, but not enough to interfere significantly with Internet usage. The cage is 12 inches long, 11.75 inches high and 5 inches wide, designed to accommodate most current modem/routers.

Needs rubber feet
Considering how expensive this thing is, when it's just a metal cage (albeit a metal cage where the holes probably were not sized arbitrarily), I feel like the least they could've done was stuck some rubber feet on the bottom. As is, the cage has a fairly high potential to scratch whatever surface it is put on. That said, it works well enough, and it fits my router, but just barely - my router has all the wires coming out on one of the long sides, but the hole for them is on one of the short sides.

Buy it
Love this. The Wi-Fi does not work as well, but I expected that. Can no longer sit at the end of driveway and use the Wi-Fi. It works in all other parts of the house, though sometimes a little slower at times. Still works fine and Iโm very happy knowing much less exposure is happening.

Solid product.
I bought this product a few years ago and have been using it faithfully. I see a lot of mixed reviews.. Understandably as each wifi router might emit more or less frequencies; so as to say this product might not be for everyones router, depending on its strength of signal it's emitting. In my house, we have a Cox wifi router. We live in a small, 4 room house. From my room, I cannot even get Internet on my computer when the shield in on. Which is a great sign! I haven't tested it with a meter. But I feel safe knowing that the signal is not traveling as strongly when sleeping. I have to take it off during the day so the wifi can reach all the rooms in my house easily as many of us work from home.Overall great product. I have been sleeping well. Recommend it if you have a Cox wifi router!

Must work - limits WiFi
It must be blocking some of the emf because it does also block WiFi signal. During the day time I leave the lid off to connect devices to the WiFi and while sleeping put the cover on.

Works as advertised
I tested the wi fi signal strength from an Xfinity router using a Cornet ED78S RF meter before placing the router in the cage. The signal was full strength red in the danger level from 4 feet away. After placing the router in the cage and properly routing the wires and cables the signal was now in the green (as low as it could go) from 4 feet away. Only after placing the meter on top of the metal cage did I read signal strength in the yellow (safe zone). This product worked exactly as advertised, reducing the Rf by 95%. I Tested the wi fi with my cell phone upstairs as far from the router as I could get, still had full signal. I highly recommend this product if you want to protect yourself from harmful RF radiation.

Its a scam
Our friend looked at it and told us its the metal box that businesses (like his) receive packages of paper in. A metal paper holder. Not expensive. So the $100+ dollars you pay are a scam. Its not made to protect you. It does block wifi though, a lot. So if it helps a bit, it also renders your wifi useless.
