Eleganza is a gorgeous 8wt, 2-ply 100 percent long staple Egyptian cotton thread that is double-gassed and mercerized, resulting in a wonderfully smooth and lustrous surface that allows the thread to glide beautifully through all types of fabrics and fires while also being low on lint. The thread's tight twist creates firm stitches while its surface sheen produces a luxurious finish to embellishment stitchery. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! Other than the gram weight of each ball, there is not any mentionable difference that I can see. The colors are gorgeous. So far have been color fast. And although I am embroidering on wool felt, I do not see any fraying or fuzzing. Very happy with my purchase

Great value and fantastic thread
This is an absolutely beautiful set! Had I not already bought other floss, I would buy other color sets! I just wish I could easily get replacement colors when I use up the colors. The floss is smooth, doesn’t unravel or fray, and high quality. Highly recommend!
