Great Long Lasting Ball but for Supervised Play Only - Not a Chew Toy
Heavy but dogs love it. Depends on the dog, like every other dog toy. Smells horrible when it comes out of the box. Keep it outside until the smell subsides. It took a couple of months but much better. We've had the "soccer ball" equivalent of this for 2 years. I can verify that they hold up, but don't leave your dog unsupervised or they may chew through it. It's a play toy, not a chew toy.

New favorite!!
Had a smaller ones for two years. Finally wore them out. Handle tore off. No complaints, they were abused daily. Lasted longer than they should have. Got her the 16”. Had doubts when it showed up. Pretty stiff and looked a bit big. Without a doubt her new go to toy. She’s constantly up for the tug a war match. This is the ONLY toy she hasn’t destroyed in 5 minutes! Highly recommend.

Jolly ball
As for the ball itself very durable. However the handle not so much. Our dog was obsessed with it but tore the handle up less than 10 lminutes. Loved the scent.

Good but not good.
Great toy for dogs. Not great for aggressive chewers. My girl had put a hole into the ball about 20 mins after getting.

GSD x Mal approved
I purchased this toy in preparation for a 9 month old shepherd mix I adopted. As soon as we got her home and she was exploring her new yard, she started playing with her jolly ball tug. She loves to roll or carry it around the yard and will bring it to me to throw it for her. It seems rather durable, though it’s not super hard, so if your dog is a super chewer I would only use it for supervised playtime.

Best toy I’ve gotten so far for my Aussie
EDIT; I had to come back and edit my review because after that first day, my dog is OBSESSED with this ball. It’s his favorite thing to play with now! No more issues with his jaw getting caught in the hole of the handle, & he goes crazy over it! I am so glad it turned out this way. Best toy I’ve gotten him so far I think! I wanted to give this a five star review so bad. I had been wanting to get my +50lbs Australian Shepherd one for a while and finally did. First few mins after getting it out of the package he was loving it. Rolling & carrying it around, I was bouncing it for him, he was loving it. But literally in less than 5 mins, I was watching him biting on the handle, & his lower jaw got stuck in the handle part and he yelped. But it was stuck for less than like a few seconds, he got it out. I think he just panicked for a sec. Now, he won’t touch it. I’m hoping that maybe tomorrow he’ll forget what happened and want to play again, but idk. I definitely wouldn’t leave your pets with this toy unattended. I realized afterwards that he most likely can get his bottom jaw stuck in that hole pretty good if he got it in there the wrong way. & if nobody was around I could see that causing an injury. I like the handle part, but now I kinda wish it didn’t have the hole in the middle and was just a solid handle. But, hopefully he’ll stop being afraid of it eventually because he definitely loved it when I first introduced it to him.

My dog loves this ball
This is my second jolly ball, my brother's dog chewed the handle off of the first one and my dog was not very happy about that and no longer wanted to play with it because he had a hard time picking it up. He loves loves loves his jolly ball. He always wants me to play tug, but with him holding the handle and me holding the ball, which doesn't work out very well, for me at least. I can tell him to go find his big ball and he will walk around the yard looking for it and bring it to me. He will seek out and bring me sticks and balls when asked (and when not asked), and he always chooses the jolly ball over other balls. I have a hard time throwing it very far because my body is trying to fall apart, but my brother can really chunk it far. So if you have any sort of shoulder or arm problems, you might have a hard time throwing it very far like I do, but your dog will still love it. It's not super heavy, but it's definitely heavier than a tennis ball, which I can't throw very far either. Our first ball did not have a scent, but this one smelled like blueberries. It was nice while it lasted, now it probably smells like dirt and slobber. I'm sure the dogs can still smell the blueberry scent, but I can't and I'm not inclined to get my nose close enough to investigate further. This might be a nice feature for a visually impaired dog, but I'm not sure how powerful the scent is after some time, as stated above, I can no longer smell it from a distance but who knows what my dog can smell. While this ball looks really hard it's actually pretty malleable. Don't get me wrong, it will hurt your foot a little if you kick it and it will sure hurt if you played dodgeball with it. It's pretty firm yet malleable. My dog likes to repeatedly chomp down on it, biting it over and over for several minutes at a time. This is the same technique I have seen him use to dispatch a few unfortunate critters that weren't quite coordinated or intelligent enough to make an escape. I assume he uses his jolly ball to make sure he brings his a-game when a chomping opportunity arises, like the dog equivalent to lifting weights lol. Whatever the case, this activity is quite therapeutic to him and he really seems to enjoy it. No other toy seems to give him the same satisfaction. He gives it a resounding 10/10 for chompability. The jolly ball is definitely his 2nd favorite toy, #1 is reserved for the laser light, and the laser is really more of an addiction for my dog than a toy, so I guess technically the jolly ball is his #1 favorite toy! I'll definitely be replacing this one when the time comes!

Ruby the Terror
It’s a nice solid ball and Ruby the Terror kept in her possession nonstop for hours. It lasted 12 hours. She is currently finishing it off. Ruby the Terror goes crazy for plastic balls, lids etc…. And chews them nonstop. I highly recommend the Monster K9 ball. That has lasted a week and in great shape, but when given the option of the tug and toss, she could not resist the handle. If your dog is not highly destructive with toys then it’s a go to toy.

Stabiles Spielzeug
