When this portable charger arrived, I charged it up via a USB port while I watched movies on my laptop. It charged up to full capacity quickly, no problems. The LED lights communicated how far along it was charged, so I was able to monitor progress effectively. I have not yet tried to charge my phone via this portable charger - will update once I've tried it. It has two ports, so I think I'll charge my phone and my old mp3 player, just to test it out. So far, this Talk Works portable charger has functioned exactly as expected.

Edited to add: this charged my phone in record time, a lot faster than other power banks I've had! Even after using it off & on for 24 hours, there was still 1 blue dot indicating it still had some power. The only downside I've found so far is that it will lose some of its charge if not used for a day or 2. I charged it fully a couple days before my vacation so I could go ahead & pack it, & I checked the night before I left & it had gone to 3 dots. But I've yet to see any power bank that doesn't do this. Arrived quickly & charged fast. I've only used this briefly so far, but was impressed. I'm excited to try this on my upcoming vacation, as I have several connections & long flights. We all know that finding an available outlet at the airport to use is a feat. I love that it can charge 2 devices at once. It's a bit larger that I expected but will still fit in my pocket or purse. It's not as heavy as it looks, either.

I just got this device so I am not sure how I would rate its use in charging a device, or in holding a charge itself. It comes with a very short cord that is difficult to maneuver to plug in the USB cord to the device. On the website it says the cord works with the Galaxy S9, but it does not. My regular phone charger can be used with this device. The included cord does work with another device which I take when traveling, so I can use this battery for both devices. It is larger than I thought it would be, but is not bulky and can fit in a pocket. The main issue is that of packaging. It comes in plastic, which is hard to open, and is too much plastic. Surely the manufacturer can find a different type of packaging that uses less or no plastic.

I like the power it stores for my devices. We are using this power bank to supply energy for our slot car track. It is excellent for powering the slot cars. This is great, because it keeps us from having a cable hooked up to a wall socket, very convenient and space saving. AS well as safer to have it connected in this fashion. We have used it for 3 hours so far and it still shows a full charge. I also charged two cell phones and still it is showing 4 leds, which is a max charge.

(photo shows approximate size) This charger does the job of slowly charging the phone but it charges extremely slowly. I'm giving it three stars instead of just like a default five stars like 99% of Amazon reviewers. It's important that one notes that it only costs about $15. In life you get what you pay for. If I paid $50 or $60 for it I think that I may not be very happy. For example, after about 30 minutes the charge only went from 14% to 17%. And this is with the device fully charged. I'm not disappointed because again it was very inexpensive. If let's say I paid $100 for the device, My gut feeling is that it would or it should charge the device very quickly. But again it does the job of slowly charging the phone and at least making sure that the phone is not or does not go completely dead. And for $15 of that peace of mind I think it's worth the price.

I was initially satisfied with this product, but unfortunately, it stopped working in less than a year. It no longer charges, and none of the indicator lights function anymore. I've tried multiple charging cables and outlets to rule out other issues — no response at all. Very disappointing for the price. For a product that seemed well-built at first, I expected much better reliability. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re okay with replacing it after just a few months of use.

This is the best portable phone charger I have ever had. I can recharge my phone a few times with it before the charger itself needs to be recharged. The only thing I wish is that is wasnt so heavy, especially when travelling. Otherwise it's good.
