Fiskars 154110-1001 Non-stick Titanium Softgrip Detail Scissors, 5 Inch

Cuts thread nice and clean.

Probably the best scissors I've ever used. They weight exactly 1 ounce on my scale. I take them with me backpacking. They do everything I need. Big enough for large projects, trimming my mustache and beard on long hikes, cutting hair(tie in a ponytail, snip off an inch every 6 months or so) and even work well as a firesteel striker. They come sharp as hell out of the box, and stay sharp a good while. They are pretty easy to sharpen as well, I use the bottom of a coffee cup to put an edge on them from time to time. I also trim my toenails and fingernails with them, so as a minimalist, it's nice to own one less thing. I've had them over a year, and used them pretty heavily on sewing projects where I make my own gear. They can slice through reasonably thick material, and the tightening screw hasn't loosened much at all. The tips are slightly blunt, so it won't stab holes in my pack, but they are fine enough for detail work.

These are good scissors. Sharp, smooth etc. Fiakars does basic scissors very well. However I bought them to cut out tiny paper details (dollhouse miniatre kits) and I don't think these are going to work. I really should have found them at a store first. I was rally expecting them to be a lot pointier. I usually use the spring loaded handle Fiakars to cut the tiny stuff but I think my 20 yr old pair finally gave out on me. So I decided to try these. Oh they're good scissors just not for my intended use. 🤷

Tried using these to cut zip ties and plastic strapping from packages. the blades solid but will slip, the handle can collapse under squeezing and the blades pull apart from each other with what your cutting getting stuck in between them. for paper they work well, better than the forged embroidery scissors.

These are well made w titanium blades (just coated w titanium???). They are very sharp & the tips are very pointed & sharp. I suggest keeping away from children. Someone could get cut or stabbed w these. The blades are short. They’re perfect for needlework or crafts w small/delicate cutting requirements.

Wow, I didn't know how badly I needed these scissors until I started using them. I cut sticky foam tape when crafting and it didn't stick to the blades. In fact, the pieces just fell to my crafting surface so I could quickly cut again and again. The cuts were precise and smooth. And when I was done, there wasn't any sticky residue left on the blades. These scissors are amazing and I highly recommend them. You'll understand just how much you needed them once you start using them.

These are my go to scissors for lots of household tasks and they are as sharp as when I purchased them 9 months ago. Getting another pair for paper crafts. Purchased 2017 Broke 2020 - So these scissors have worked well for a long time cutting all kinds of things, but nothing heavy duty. Today I was cutting off the headers off some packets of stickers so they could fit neatly in a 12 x 12 container. The headers were really thin chipboard, so to my complete surprise one of handles of the scissors pretty much came apart, breaking in 5 different places on the rigid outer handle. My advice would be to use these scissors for fine detail work and not use them for anything even slightly strenuous. I'll buy them again because nothing sticks to the titanium blades, but I'll be a lot more careful with how I use them.

Most scissors offered these days are described as "Ergonomic", meaning designed for right-handed use. I'm a lefty and those type of scissor handles dig into my thumb and become painful after several strokes. These little scissors from Fiskars are truly ergonomic for any user. Left or right hand, they are comfortable to use. The small size is good for fine detail work. I've only used them for cutting paper and trimming hair but I expect that they will do a great job on cloth, too.

La compre hace mas de 3 años, le doy mucho uso y corto mucho papel con adhesivo. Son excelentes, no se le va el filo y gracias al recubrimiento antiadherente no las tengo que estar limpiando como haria con una normal. Muy recomendadas

These scissors are great. They really do cut paper/card with has glue on it, but without making a mess of the scissor blades. The handles have a comfort grip, so no aching joints. The colour makes no difference to me, but in case it does to others - they are white with a soft blue inside the grips. I am delighted with these scissors, they are small but not minute.

Son mis tijeras favoritas :) muy cómodas de usar, se abren fácilmente, es cierto su las primeras veces venían un poco firmes para poder abrirlas y cerrarlas pero con el uso se fueron acomodando y funcionan perfecto, sin fuertes, no ha perdido su filo y cortan de todo sin mayor problema

These are sturdy and very comfortable to use and they are a very good reliable product, delivery was great. Would definitely recommend
