Cucumbers Daily Gentle Milk Cleanser, Soothing Face Wash That Won't Strip Your Skin & Holds Moisture, With Cucumber Extract, Soy Proteins & Green Tea, Natural, Vegan & Cruelty Free, 6 Fl Oz

I wanted to use this cleanser for a couple of weeks before reviewing it, to get an idea of its long term effects on my skin. I'm pretty happy with it; it seems to work perfectly as a cleanser for wintertime, when my skin is a little drier and I need something gentle. I have dry, sensitive skin that's very prone to redness and irritation, and this cleanser does not dry out or irritate my skin at all. It hasn't caused any acne. My simple routine: splash water on my face, put two pumps of cleanser on my fingertips, apply it all over my face, and gently wipe it off with a wet washcloth (this provides a little exfoliation without irritation). Then I rinse well, pat dry, and put on moisturizer. That's all, folks :) I don't wear any makeup beyond a little Catrice True Skin under-eye concealer and Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator (two amazing $5 miracle products) to even out any redness or discoloration. The Yes to Cucumbers cleanser easily and effectively removes both products. Overall, I really like this Yes To Cucumbers cleanser. It leaves my face feeling clean, fresh, and moisturized. If you like a lathery cleanser, this probably isn't for you - it's more of a thin cream, but the ingredients that make lather tend to strip skin of moisture, so I prefer a cleanser that doesn't lather.

I have been using this facial cleanser product for a number of years and it continues to be my favorite cleanser. The positives include: gentle, very light pleasant fresh cucumber smell, has a cooling effect, removes excess oil but not drying, not overly expensive, and a great everyday cleanser. I have loaned the product to visiting guests who forgot face cleanser and many of them are now using it as well. The only personal negative is that I wish it had a glass bottle option (trying to use less plastic lately).

I like this cleanser a lot, it doesn’t strip or dry my skin and it has a natural cucumber scent; doesn’t smell like artificial fragrance but actual cucumber extract. As a skincare professional with combo oily/dry skin I can say it’s hard to find a non stripping, non drying cleanser that doesn’t leave a greasy film behind. This one wins.

I actually tried this product because a Reddit user recommended it as a dupe for the Fresh Soy face wash. I thought I wouldn't be into a milk cleanser, but I actually really like it! It is a gentle wash, and my face feels really clean and soft afterwards, without feeling dry. I will definitely be purchasing again. The smell is also really evocative of the freshness of cucumbers, which I think adds to the experience. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who doesn't like the smell of cucumbers. But otherwise, I wholeheartedly recommend this product.

My skin is not overly sensitive, but I wanted to switch from using harsh face wash (proactiv and then clean and clear) to organic. This stuff is great...is doesn't sud because its more natural. It is very gentle (again, no ezcema or anything serious so not sure about that) on my skin and refreshing...a light cucumber scent that is nice! I think its a great deal for the price. I use this in combination with apple cider vinegar toner (diluted 1 part ACV to 3 parts water) and Burt's Bee sensitive skin moisturizer. The combo is great. Not sure if this stuff on its own would be good for acne prone skin, but it works very well on mine. With this regime, my skin feels soft and moisturized. As a side note....I have blepharitis (itchy dry lids and beyond), and (obviously not a doctor so please be careful) but have been using this to gently clean my lids for two months and it works better than anything else! (ocusoft left my lids itchy and irritated, and flaky, while this leaves them clean and moisturized and soft.)

This product is EXTREMELY gentle and very good for people with sensitive or dry skin. The fragrance of this product just smells like cucumbers. Not a very strong scent, but it's a lot better than other cleansers out there. This product is also all natural and it feels very nice when applied on skin. After I washed the cleanser off, it left my skin feeling very soft and supple. If you have acne, I would not recommend using this alone but using this as your first cleanser and then using some sort of acne cream or medicated cream after. This product by itself is not very good for acne, but if you tend to have dry or flaky skin, using this with a moisturizer would really help. Over all, this cleanser is perfect for sensitive skin and has just the right amount of cucumber fragrance that will help your skin glow after usage.
