camera is compatible SDE-5001N (D1, res 704x480px). Just unplugged the old one, replaced with this one. Clear picture on my restaurant main door. Getting another one for my kitchen. Note that this type of low res compatibility cam has become hard to find.

It works perfect during the day but when it gets dark there is no night vision. Just a fuzzy gray picture of nothing like looking at a sheet of paper close up.

It has picture…. That’s about the best thing I can say about this camera… super narrow range of view, picture quality is complete garbage compared to the other 720p cameras I’ve had for about 12 years now. Not that I need it, but it doesn’t even come with mounting hardware.. one of the other cameras that I added recently was $17 and the Picture quality is 1000 times better and in just my living room can see about 15 feet wider than this pos… at least it was cheap so it’s not even worth my time to return it. I’ll probably just smash it in a hydraulic press just for fun. I took a video just to show, but for some reason video taken with my iPhone and in the lighting it makes it look way better than it does on my TV screen..

This is not a bad little camera. Especially for the cost. Decent night vision. Decent sound although don’t get it too close to the receiver it does have a lot of back feed through it. Other than that it’s not bad at all

I still haven't figured out how to get the audio working, but I'm pretty much positive that's a me problem and not a problem with the camera. The quality of the picture is quite good, both in day light and low light. The installation was simple and essentially fool proof if you're worked with these types of CCTV cameras in the past. My only critique of these is that the relay that switches on the IR LEDs makes a noticeable "click" when it's engaged and disengaged. In a garage (one of my installed locations), it's not noticeable. However, in a baby's room, it is. I realize at this price point I probably can't complain TOO much, but a solid state solution wouldn't have cost much more and would eliminate the only gripe I've got.

Picture quality is ok not great. It says that its color in the daylight and black and white at night but mine is black and white all the time. I have mine hooked directly to a tv so I can watch my entry gate while I'm in my office. If this camera was more than 17 dollars I would be mad but its pretty much what I expected for te price.
