AmeriColor Food Color Super Red 13.5 Oz

I love americolor gel food coloring. It doesn’t change the taste of my frosting and it gives lovely color. Red takes quite a bit of color to get what you want, but it’s still worth the price and good quality. Bottles don’t leak and are easy to use. Great price for great quality

I ordered this red gel for a red velvet cake for 40 people. It was perfect. The color was intense and beautiful. The consistency is good and didn't introduce too much moisture to my batter. Be careful not to use too much and you might want to wear gloves. It goes further than you might expect. I will definately order again especially with Christmas right around the corner.

Americolor is my go to for strong vibrant colors, I use this for Swiss merengue buttercream and using an immersion blender it comes out a perfect red without using the whole bottle and without a noticeable taste, it’s also great in red velvet cakes, the package comes in a durable plastic bottle and cap and the product is a gel like consistency, not runny

Baking is one of my passions and I am always on the lookout for quality ingredients and supplies. After tons of research I came across this brand of food coloring and I have to say that I am really impressed. I used to buy the liquid food coloring but sometimes the extra liquid imparted through all the drops that were added tended thinned out my icings. This is really crucial when you are working with a meringue icing because you cannot add hardly any liquid or it starts falling apart on you. This gel version of food coloring allows me to still get a nice color and not have to use so many drops since it is a much more concentrated color. Plus this huge bottle of red food coloring is great because in my house we love red velvet cake!

This is ehat you need for snything you bake that needs a red color! Deep and bright color with using a small amount. I made some Christmas baked items that needed to be red and bought this and I was do glad i did. My cookies came out red not pink but a bright red color. I had an order for a red velvet cake and used 2 teaspoons of this food coloring and the results were perfect. Dont waste your money on liquid food coloring, buy this gel.

I used this to make red frosting for cupcakes for my niece's graduation party. I will definitely be using AmeriColor again!
