This was not my first time buying Magnesium Glycinate from NOW, and I wanted to share a layperson’s perspective, since most of us who buy supplements aren’t medical experts. They claim it may help regulate blood sugar and blood pressure, potentially reducing the risk of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. These are things that are hard for an average consumer to evaluate. But they also mention reduced anxiety and improved sleep quality — and that’s where I personally noticed a real difference. In the very first week, my sleep improved significantly. I fell asleep much more easily and slept longer. Before taking Magnesium Glycinate, I usually slept 4–5 hours a night; after starting it, I began sleeping 6–7 hours, and occasionally even 8. For me, that alone made the supplement worth continuing. I also experienced no side effects such as diarrhea, nausea, or abdominal discomfort. Overall, an excellent product. Five stars.

I’ve been taking this magnesium for over three years now, starting during my pregnancy when I stopped ambien because I didn’t want to continue it while expecting. I never went back to ambien, even though I had been using it for several years and I never thought I’d be able to get a full nights sleep without it. For me, this has been the best sleep support I’ve found that actually works and I’ve tried soooo many things. I take two each night, and it really helps me relax, calm nighttime anxiety, and wind me down so I can fall asleep more easily. I’ve also noticed my skin looks clearer and I seem to have fewer breakouts, although I can’t say for certain if that’s directly related. I recommend this to everyone in my life when they tell me they have an insomnia or a hard time sleeping. It’s become a simple but essential part of my nightly routine. The only downside is that I can’t find it locally if I run out so I do wish shipping were a bit faster though that’s probably on me since I tend to reorder when I’m down to my last few.

Been using for a few months. No issues and seems to be working well. I'm an adult male, about 180 lbs. I take three tablets a day, one with each meal (which is less than the usually recommented daily dose of ~400mg). Pills are big, but I have no swallowing issues if I let the tablet hydrate in a mouthful of water for several seconds before swallowing; that way there are no dry or sticky spots on the tablet that could hang it up in the throat. Note: I used to take metamucil to keep my bowels moving. I no longer need to do that since I've started supplementing with magnesium glycinate. I feel like everything down there is now working like it is supposed to. I wish I had realized the importance of magnesium supplementation much earlier.

I’ve been happy with this magnesium supplement so far. The tablets are easy to take and the glycinate form feels gentler on my stomach than some other magnesium supplements I’ve tried. Simple, good quality product and convenient for daily use.

Starting taking at bedtime to hopefully increase my quantity of deep sleep. Seems to be helping, based on sleep info from my Samsung Galaxy watch.

I've been taking this supplement for a while, use to get real muscle contracts under left ribs, in my belly area, or if I bend a certain way, I would be in pain. But ever since I started taking this supplement, they are all gone. Please take it may be an hour before bed. The first week youll be ok, but going forward it makes you sleep, so take it close to bedtime. Very good!
