This is the best indoor fountain. Beautiful. Rock and solid made. Shipped carefully. • Three LED lights—add your own stone pebbles to dim light. • VERY Important: You MUST Buy the remote switch sold here on Amazon to avoid plugging in and out of electric socket so you will not "complain" like a stupid customer. • Simply connect pump to tube, make sure suction cup faces down add water, switch and voila. • You are LAZY to add water, so ADD ICE CUBES! • All fountains will accumulate muck and algae—this will cause the water to slowly trickle. You might like it. But you might miss the noise water. Lazy Solution: ADD BLEACH and it will trickle the water sounds again. (THANK GOD) There is no water splash, only two or three raindrops. Remember children: No fountain in this world can avoid splashing unless you have the power of the gods to control wind and water. Best Solution: get two unused credit cards and slip them under the frontal edge to tilt the fountain back. This will kill any water splashing. Twinkle sounds are beautiful. • Just remember: LED bulbs don't last forever, expect them to die at some point. Fair price for a beautiful fountain. Àdd a religious / spiritual figure on top to enhance visual effect. Again BUY the remote switch on Amazon and use the old credit cards to tilt fountain. Add a cup of bleach to water to kill water bacteria / algae. Water refill every 5 days. Either use mineral distilled water to avoid algae or use / add bleach to kill bacteria. This fountain is not for bird cats to drink in. They poop and dirty the water anyway. Be humane and give them a proper bowl of clean water.

Excellent little water fountain! I got it as part of my feng shui arrangement for my apartment. Yes, it is quite small, but non-the-less very pretty and effective. The sound is nice although I would like to modify it a bit with rocks, as it reminds me a bit of a leak in the bathroom rather than waterfalls... but I'm almost sure you can modify the sound by putting rocks and such on the fountain levels. It looks very much like rocks, no wood or anything, just nicely stacked grey rocks. The pump was silent at first but after a few days it started to be a bit noisy but it doesn't bother me much, the water sound is louder so it's fine. I am a bit worried about the charger of the pump since it warms up quite a lot.... hopefully it will be ok, will update if breaks or anything. Still didn't clean it but i imagine it wouldn't be too problematic, you should use special fountain cleaner for it and make sure to use filtered water, that helps with the accumulation of yucky stuff I believe. *****UPDATE***** After about a year since purchase. Pump stopped working. Disappointing. *****NEWER UPDATE***** I purchased a cheap pump off amazon and simply replaced it and now it works again perfectly an dlooks great! Makes such a lovely sound too... I think the new pump is stronger(it’s bigger too) and the water noise went from sounding kind of like a toilet leak - to a wonderful rivery sound! So if u wunna improve the sound - definitely get a stronger pump

The packaging is a mess. Had to open THREE nested boxes to get to the product. The outer box was quite large - way larger than the inner boxes, with only minimal padding, which left plenty of room for the inner box to bounce around. The next box was taped up like crazy, and took time to get through all of it. I wasn't able to separate the two inner boxes - they were stuck together, and both boxes had to be badly damaged before I could remove the fountain. Although the fountain was inside a plastic bag, it was still covered with foam beads from the styrofoam padding. Static electricity makes them difficult to remove if you don't have ready access to compressed air. The pump unit had to be removed from the fountain body, flow volume adjusted to low (per printed instructions, water tube connected to the pump, and then inserted back into the unit and positioned correctly so the pump would be covered by water. I spent well over an hour trying to get the pump back inside, positioned correctly, without kinking the water tube or disconnecting it from the pump. After accomplishing THAT, the pump is NOISY. The flow rate is WAY too slow, and right now I'll be damned if I'm going to pull the rig apart to adjust it. Maybe later, when I'm not so irritated over how difficult it was to put this together. Whoops...doesn't look like there's going to be a later. There's a hole in the reservoir, and all the water has leaked onto the floor. I don't recommend this unit to you. Frustration-filled packaging, difficult setup, and a shoddy product. Returning this one!

I would give it 5 stars except that I have had it less than a month and hace turned it iff too cool off and dry out a bit several times. Which I have not had to do with my other 3 indoor fountains. It has already started to get slime on the top and the way this one is designed you can't get at it with a old toothbrush from the top just the small opening where the water comes out. I usually have 2 on and 2 off as home bound and they help with insomnia. I will have to shut this one off before the month is out unless my cleaner steps up to the plate and fast. It has a beautiful sound that can be made slowly to go faster rather than just fast or slow. I get all the in-between. If it runs on high for a couple of days it starts to make noise and the pump gets warm. I slowed it down a fuzz and it's been great since except for the slime building up which I plan on cleaning out with a child's electric toothbrush which seems to be the only thing little enough to get in there. Looks like it will be sooner than later. My others are not ready to go yet. I make repairs but make sure they are good and dry beforehand. Paint seems to be the biggest thing that always comes off. Hobby Lobby here I come then more drying. Over all I very much enjoy the sounds it makes, just wasn't planning on such early cleaning.

I bought this item because I love the sound of moving water. When I received it the box was undamaged and it was packaged great. When I got the model out it was Heavy like actual stone but the inside was sprayed with some type of water resistant foam. That chipped off and was rattling around inside the waterfall. Once I cleaned out all the excess chips inside I filled it with water and It worked great. The AC power adapter plug that came with it is another story, the plug has only been in the wall for 15 minutes and the plug is RED HOT 🔥 like if it had anything flameable next to it the plug would ignite. It draws MORE than 12volts of electricity to run the pump and lights. I emailed Amazon they where no help they wanted me to return it, I emailed the company that made it and have not heard back. The model is beautiful just don't like that the AC power adapter is getting very hot. I'm scared to leave it plugged in for over an hour. UPDATE: 03/11/22 The company emailed me and called me personally to tell me how sorry they where that the AC outlet was getting hot and they sent a replacement over right away. The new plug they sent is attached to a pump that is able to be adjusted water flow and the lights attached to it. The falls are running again. Here's a quick note to those complaining about the noise of the pump. Get a piece of water resistant foam and sit it under the pump itself under water, the pump rattles against the material inside causing a sound. With the pump elevated on a soft surface it has nothing to rattle. I added water so it would fill ABOVE the pump and it works Soo nicely no humming sound.

The very first thing I noticed is there was one small piece (see pic) that appeared to be broken(?) on the inside. It is clearly a piece from the inside of the fountain, but after searching for any possible areas that may leak I could not visibly find any. The fountain arrived pre-assembled, with easy enough instructions to where all I had to do was adjust the pump level, submerge it in water and plug in for power. I first tested it on a safe, flat surface, away from anything I didn't want to risk exposing water to. Fortunately, first attempt and the fountain appeared to work fine without any leaks. After that, it's really a balancing act as the sound can range anywhere from an annoying trickle to a steady stream-like flow. Mind you, whatever the case, this is a relatively loud fountain; though nothing that can't be adjusted by positioning it further away. Switching between levels one and two on the pump, there was an inconsistent flow of water from the top to bottom of the longest center channel (starts out flowing nicely, but trickles down at the bottom as there isn't enough pressure). With levels three and four on the pump, water flows consistently down the entire channel and and sounds much more pleasant. But, this also resulted in greater splashback. To circumvent this, I found a set of shell-like beads on an old necklace, which I substituted in place of the river rocks so many others seem to use and recommend for tabletop fountains (should work just as well). I spent a good while stacking the shell beads until I was satisfied, and found the most pleasant sound to be with the pump set to level four, seated right besides me on my desk. As it is, there is very little splashback and although I can hear the sound of the pump it isn't enough to distract my attention away from the very Zen stream-like sound. I tried to capture the sound as best as possible (see video), and all in all I would definitely recommend this product as it is very aesthetically pleasing and delivers on its intended purpose. I'm hoping this product holds up well over time, but only time will tell. Kudos to all who have shared their positive experience with service/repair requests. It's one of the main reasons I went with this one over countless others on Amazon. 3 star rating--though really a 3.5 star, if I could give one--for 1) broken piece directly out of the box, 2) backplate doesn't aesthetically line up flush with the fountain, 3) exclusion of any rocks of any kind, which I'm sure many would agree is all but necessary, and 4) placement of pump makes it difficult to reach and adjust levels.

I loved my old inside fountain but after 10 years, it was disintegrating quickly. I went to local stores searching for another small fountain to keep on my brick hearth in my living room. None to be found except a few cheap tabletop models for about $20. I then searched Amazon and compared all the fountains, quite a good selection. Not being sure what brand to buy, I visited my local Navlet's nursery where they told me they had none in stock but always bought Alpine brand fountains for resale in their stores. SO I chose this very natural looking rock fountain, nicely made, water flows down in 3 waterfalls and runs over rocks into 3 pools. Lights are bright white but easily covered up with a couple of added rocks. At first, my fountain was a little too noisy and splashy but I experimented with placing a triangular shaped rock in the noisiest waterfall and that did the trick, quieter sound and less splashing. Very happy with the performance and looks of this fountain. Water needs refilling only every few days and I do unplug it at night but it runs all day every day with minimal pump noise. Recommend this one. Update: 11/13/16: Fountain is still running well, looks the same, and I still love it, highly recommend!

It's nice fountain, not big and not to small and a nice price. Everything works fine but couple holes in the body of it and didn't care for it being in 2 pieces, a base for water and head for water running out. Needless to say I'm just keeping it, I filled it with caulking and you won't see it anyways, it's in a rock garden so probably get broke somewhere. But everything together it's fine. I added a couple stars and finished what I wanted to do with this fountain, you'd never know it had a hole in it. Good price tho.

I am sure the product is nice however, the description said indoor/outdoor use and the actual manufacture’s box said INDOOR use only. Obviously I returned the fountain without taking it our of the box.

Really love this waterfall. Have not use it it yet as Im moving. But did plug in and try it, a little on the loud side, however you can put river rock from the dollar store in each one of the coves to soften the sound of the water fall
