Woodcut Notecards

I am on my second box of these beautiful notecards. These are a standout as it can be hard to find artistic larger sized folded blank cards without some overdone image of a famous dead painter's "masterpiece" on it. They have an intricate inviting duet of complex-simplicity, the details and lines are very sharp and the colors are fittingly subdued hues. Perfect for sending or framing. Even the box they are housed in can be re-used (the band w/product title is removable). The woodcuts are not random graphics- the back of the cards offer detailed descriptions of his original woodcut (what type of tree- it's story, etc). They are similar to an A7 at 5 1/8" x 6 3/8", a perfect large size (but not foolishly large like many mainstream greeting cards).

I send a LOT of snail mail, several letters a day, so I have a large collection of cards and these are in my Top 3 for certain. The prints are beautiful, the paper is a nice weight, they’re large and allow for a lot of writing, there is also a blurb on the back of each card. I’ve repurchased this already several times

I like that these are a bit bigger than a lot of note cards sold these days. It is also nice that the material isn't super glossy, so I don't have to worry as much about ink smears. Some people might find the designs a bit plain, but honestly I think they are charming.

I'm on my second or third box of these and love it. They're thick, don't smear, and look great. The only con is that it takes me forever to decide which to use...Might be a user error...

These cards are pretty. Totally my fault, but they were larger than I was expecting. Have them to my MIL and she loved them

I am often on the look-out for notecards that don't fall into any of the medium's typical expectations. These were highly appealing: Abstract yet natural and familiar; not too colourful, but interesting. I am not disappointed. The card might be thicker, but the effect is striking and to some extent captivating.As far as I remember, you get six designs - two of each.Not cheap, but well worth the price.
