Oatfield, Irish Black Liquorice (licorice) Toffee (2.500 Lbs)

These remind me of the toffees I got as a kid. The ones from my childhood are no longer made and I search a lot to find these. They are not as soft a caramel, but still soft enough to enjoy. Be careful if you have crowns and other susceptible dental repairs.

The Packaging and Fast Shipping is Amazing, however, the taste of the Licorice is not to my liking. The reason I bought these is because of a review that said they were full of flavor and creamy. They were neither. I'm Sorry maybe I am spoiled but they are not what I am used to getting from other makers of Candy. I am sure they have other flavors that are good, but just not these.

Fabulous substitute for Callard & Browser!!

In my search for a licorice toffee that would replace the old Callard & Bowser, which I was no longer able to find, I came upon this Oatfield Licorice Toffee at a candy store in our town. I took a chance on it, and although I no longer had any Callard & Bowser around with which to compare it, it tasted close enough for me to consider it a worthy substitute. Each piece is individually wrapped and has a great licorice flavor, one that I find quite pleasing.

Hard little tasteless rocks. Not the Oatfield’s licorice I ordered from another company that was delicious.
