Gel Couture Full Collection (Pick Your Color) (Matter of Fiction #1155)

This is very nice nail polish, l'm wearing it now. It is pretty long-wearing and easy to apply. The colors are great.

Matter of Fiction is one of my favorite color it’s a light pink that is faint and not too bold. It looks good on my fair skin tone and I have received many compliments on the color, it lasts me 4-6 days with the corresponding top coat. I adore this color!

This nail polish lasts longer than all the others to the point that I only use Essie Gel Couture. I have natural nails no gel or powder and my manicure lasts a full week with no chips. I’ve worn different colors all successfully. I also use their clear top coat.

I love Essie polish. This color is perfect and with the top coat it lasts a long time! I rarely do ny nails so a long lasting coat is an absolute must! Dries quickly, saves time!

Essie GC is the best polish that doesn't require a lamp. I used to have a whole setup and have used many polish from various brands. The Essie Gel Couture has lasted the longest for me vs the others. So when I got rid of the fake nail setup and my lamp I decided to only use this formula. It just makes my life easier. The two shiny nails in the pic don't have a top coat bc I was just swatching. I love the shiny top coat in this line and don't even buy seche vite anymore right now. The other two nails have the matte top coat from this line. You can't really tell from the pics but it actually looks elegant in real life. The colors in the first photo are Coastal Couture (lighter peach) and Sequins on the Rocks (warm raspberry.) The second photo shows Pinned Up. Other colors (I'll try to post pics later) Spiked with Style - very similar to Chanel Rouge Noir, which allegedly began as a red polish colored over with a black marker. Model Clicks - looks like Wicked, which is Essie's original dupe for Chanel Rouge Noir but actually both Wicked and its GC dupe Model Clicks lean a bit cooler.

I'm a hairstylist and have my hands in water and chemicals. I don't like artificial nails. This polish lasts at least 3 days before I need to touch up the edges. I wish they made more colors!!! It is my go to gel polish!!

Pretty thin while applying and very reddish

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I have been looking for a pale pink solid colour (so you can't still see the white bit of nail through it) for ages and bought so many that looked ok in the bottle but were hopeless when actually applied. The end result of this one is brilliant. At first I was dubious because the first coat went on a bit thin and streaky but the second coat evened it up a bit and the third coat finished it off perfectly. I then applied the Gel Couture Top Coat (solid white bottle) and it gave a really smooth, shiny finish and didn't take half the polish off with it, which I've found with many other top coats. Each coat dried very fast with no tackiness, also a bonus as I tend to get impatient and more often that not start doing things too soon and ruin it! Note: the photo makes it look quite white but it's just the light, it's most definitely pale pink, a cool pink, rather than a warm tone.

My wife has started to get into nail polishes. The gel ones, in particular, seem to last longer than the regular ones, which is always a plus when you are time -poor. The shade is a very light pink, so you will definitely need too coats for better coverage. The brush applicator is wide, so you can cover the nails with a couple of strikes. The bottle is easy to hold due to its ergonomical shape. The only downside is that it doesn't last as long as originally thought. It started chipping after a couple days. Perhaps with a top coat will last longer. We shall see.

I applied this nail polish on Thursday morning - it's now Monday night, I've been busy all weekend and it's only just now starting to chip a tiny bit. It would probably easily last another couple of days with a bit of touching up, and I didn't even bother applying top coat as I was in a hurry - just two coats of the polish. It resulted in good coverage and a mirror shine like a professional gel polish, but you don't need to buy one of those little lamps. The colour is a slightly mauvy pink which got several admiring comments. It's sober enough for work and looks attractive with any colour outfit. I'm definitely going to buy another colour - probably the "Daring Damsel" gold which will go with the more autumn-y colours I like to wear and will be great for evening. Great stuff.
