Our two small dogs love these! Okay, well, they like all toppers! But I like that the portion can be small (without me trying to break it) so it doesn't overpower their regular food. One of the dogs will sometimes only want to eat the topper so these are perfect. Also, we purchased beef, which is necessary for the other dog. Repeat purchaser. Our regular pet store doesn't carry for some reason?

When I first received the Wellness Core Grain Free Freeze Dried Beef Topper, I was thrilled, and so were my two Siberian Huskies. Unfortunately, that was fairly short lived. My girl has a sensitive stomach and sometimes refuses to eat, so we were looking forward to this enticing her into the bowl. It definitely does work, and both of them love the nicely sized nibbles of freeze dried beef, but there is a decent amount of freeze dried fat mixed in. Unfortunately, my girl's stomach did not agree with this, and it ended up giving her diarrhea. My boy, who has never had food issues, was just fine. So, if your dog has a sensitive stomach, or is sensitive to fattier/richer foods, this might not be the right product for you. The Wellness Core brand does, however, continue to product top quality Mixers and Toppers, and I would not hesitate to purchase another topper from them (in fact, we have two different ones on the way!).

Sometimes my pups won't eat their food so this is why I originally purchased this booster food. Now I buy it because they ALWAYS seem to enjoy their food much more with this product. I pour the bag of this product into the bag of kibble for a special treat. The only negative is that it makes my pups breath stink really bad. It's a decent price for what you get.

My dog goes literally insane now when I'm getting ready to feed him. He'd make these weird throat sounds , it's different from a growl, it's quite funny as I'm feeding him, but now that I'm using this topper those sounds have went up by 100 percent no joke he goes crazy now , he starts jumping which he never did before, he starts whining and when I finally put it down he goes ham on his food. I put this topper on top of fresh pet refrigerated bites , so as he is eating now he looks like he's in heaven then begs for more, even more so now with the topper than before when it was only fresh pet in his bowl .
