I just received my order of Acai Berry Powder and couldn't wait to try it. I was able to make a rich, dark smoothie using a tsp. of the powder blended with a cup of plain keffir, two tbsps of organic chia seeds, a couple of drops of vanilla essence and some stevia. It was yummylicious with hints of chocolate and berries. The next day, Acai Berry smoothie featured prominently on my breakfast menu. Not being a morning person, I thought this would give me an energy boost after some sleepless nights. I reached in my fridge, grabbed the Acai Berry Powder and made that delicious smoothie. My taste buds thanked me and my pooch appreciated my changed mood. He eagerly waited for his snack topped with some keffir and then we went for a brisk walk around the neighborhood. It has been a while since I felt this perky and upbeat. The thought of working on my taxes didn't seem so daunting. Maybe it was because the sun came out. But I noticed a renewed energy that I hadn't felt for a long time - so much so that my pooch was panting from a good run. This superfood is gong to be part of my daily regimen. Since my youngest brother died of a heart attack at 39, my family history and cholesterol markers were causing concern. Hopefully, the Acai Berry Powder will help to bring the levels down. In an uncontrolled pilot study published in 2011, a group of researchers from California found that consumption of acai pulp reduced levels of a number of markers of metabolic disease, including fasting glucose and insulin levels, total cholesterol, and LDL cholesterol. Studies also suggest that anthocyanins in Acai berries can benefit vision in a number of ways, including improving night vision, boosting circulation within the capillaries of the retina, reducing the risk of retinopathy in diabetics, and providing protection against macular degeneration. When I turned 40, I had laser surgery to repair retinal tears in both eyes. While there have been no further problems, I intend to keep Acai powder in my arsenal of antioxidants. Terrasoul has a quality product and the packaging retained its freshness. I had previously ordered their raw, organic unpasteurized almonds and organic raw cacao nibs. They are the best and the price is reasonable.

Blended perfectly! Tastes amazing! I used a frozen fruit mix and also some frozen bananas, and used coconut water to blend it all. I saw some reviews of people saying theirs came out gritty, mine did not come out gritty at all so I would attribute that to using a high power blender.

The packaging has changed, you should update the Amazon picture. I first purchased your product a year ago and it was great. Just as packaged and the powder was great. I re-ordered earlier this year (Feb 2017) and got the new packaging. there was a problem with the powder, it had a sandy grit in it. I was past the 30-day exchange period with Amazon, but they still took it back. Disappointing. I gave Terrasoul another try and re-ordered. Powder is fine, no grit, but I think the color of the powder is not as dark as my first purchase. The deep richness of the color is gone. Not sure if this makes a difference in quality of the Acai powder. The combination of the more simple packaging, problem with my second powder, and now the change in color of the powder, has me wondering if something has changed at Terrasoul?

This powder will blend right into your smoothie. Good thing it blends in, because it tastes like wet leaves. (Not that I eat wet leaves regularly, just sayin'). I guess I got the idea that it was sweet after eating yogurt with a "side car" of acai/blueberry fruit to add to the yogurt. Not a problem because you can't taste it once it's in a smoothy. Almost everyone knows by now that this fruit is loaded with antioxidents, and polyphenols and that it lowers inflamation and helps promote better artery function. If you don't eat other similar fruits like blueberries or blackberries on a regular basis, this is a convenient alternative. For those who have a nutrient rich smoothie every morning, this powder is the way to get your potent antioxidents. Serving size is 1 1/2 tsp.

When my order arrived the contents seemed VERY wet like coffee grounds and wanted to be sure that the product was supposed to be like this. I thought the product was freeze dried and should be like a powder instead. Please contact me and let me know as I don’t want to used the product if it is defective.

Acai berries are one of the best super foods for anti oxidants. A powder form allows me to easily put it into my morning smoothies.

Very good for the body, but it doesn’t taste anything like açai. Has an unpleasant taste.

It taste fresh but very expensive and the ziplock hard to close bc the powder gets in between the grooves. Also taste sanding and not smooth. Now, I’m buying from another company with cheaper price and about the same quality.
