I never consider a pot it’s your choice. **Q: Do you need two peach trees for successful fruiting?** A: No **Q: Will this grow in south Texas by boarder?** A: Belle of Georgia peaches are disease resistant to bacterial leaf spot and brown rot. This tree requires 800 chill hours during the winter, meaning it needs that number of hours between 32° and 45° F to go dormant and properly set fruit in the spring. Belle of Georgia peaches are compatible with USDA hardiness zone 5-8. **Q: Will this tree grow in maryland please advised** A: It will grow, but will have a hard time, especially if you want fruit. Thats why Georgia and sourthern climates have the best results. If you live in a lower elevation and it doesn't freeze or get that cold, your tree will live. ## Frequently Bought Together - Contender Peach Tree - Self Pollinating Live Fruit Plant Shipped 2 to 3 Feet Tall by DAS Farms (No California) - Farmer's Secret Fruit Tree Booster Fertilizer (32oz) - Super Concentrated and Phosphorus Rich - Formulated for All Fruit Trees Including Peach, Banana, and Apple --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://congo.desertcart.com/products/116888842-contender](https://congo.desertcart.com/products/116888842-contender) --- *Product available on Desertcart Congo* *Store origin: CD* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
