Excellent vacuum especially for pets
I bought this vacuum for myself on Cyber Monday and got $50 off the regular price so already I was pleased. Then, it arrived 3 days later (which also never happens) so my satisfaction grew more. I took it out of the box. It came in 4 pieces which snapped together very easily. I plugged it in and used it for the first time. I was amazed. It's very maneuverable, goes around corners and under beds easily. This vacuum has a lot of suction power. I have four cats that why I went with the Zero-M No Hair Wrap model. It sucks up kitty litter granules out of the carpet like nobody's business. I should mention right now that the compartment that holds the dirt and debris is not very large and you may find yourself having to empty it after vacuuming each room depending on how often you vacuum (or don't). The roller brush is designed specifically for pet fur and it sucked up my cats' hair with no problem and did not get tangled in the brush roller. I will mention right now, that if you do have pets and you notice that the vacuum stops sucking, you could have a clogged wand. This actually happened to me. I disconnected the wand, which is the straight plastic tube that runs from the vacuum roller part to the dirt collector. I saw that it was clogged. I had to get a wire hanger, straightened it, and then preceded to unclog the wand. You should be able to look thru the wand. If you don't, it's clogged. Once unclogged, it worked like new. I also want to say that it worked great after Christmas when I took the Christmas tree down (real spruce tree) and vacuumed up all the needles. I'm just so pleased with this Shark. I hope it lasts forever.

Amazing. Puts Dyson DC6 to shame
We had a cordless Dyson DC6 for our Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) flooring. We have two little kids and a cat, so given the every day dust, crunched cereal, construction paper clippings, and cat hair tumbleweeds, we vacuum a lot. Over time the DC6’s battery power and duration dropped. We got a replacement battery but the Dyson was never the same. Would work sometimes and not the other. Most frustrating of all was that its head was so low to the ground that it could even suck up a Cheerio. Our world changed when we got the Shark Apex and we wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone and anyone: Friends, Family, and Amazon community. Details below... Enter the Shark Apex. -After being frustrated with the cordless vac’s inability to vacuum our whole house on a single charge, we decided to flip back to corded. Cordless is nice, but having the unlimited power availability of a corded vac can’t be beat. The cord wraps out of the way vertically from the handheld canister to the Top of the pole. It unwrap easily simply by flipping a little retaining tab down. The cord length is very nice. -The handheld canister /stores sits on the pole down by the head when not in use. Unwrap the cord, lift the canister off the rest, snap into the pole, and you’re good to go. Very simple process. -Canister collection cup size is surprisingly ample. You may need to empty it a few times depending on size of house, cleanliness level, etc, but it’s always amazing to see how much this thing picks up. The collection cup is easy to remove, easy to empty, and easy to put back in. -The canister is a good size which allows it to run with a good size motor. It has two speeds and does well on the lowest. Definitely don’t have to run high speed all the time. It comes with a removable flexible hose and a number of different nozzles can be quickly attached as needed. -The sucking power is great. Dyson can say all they want about their motors spinning as fast as race car engines, but if the head can’t get over a lone Cherrio, what’s the point? The two-speed Apex motor handles our LVP and medium pile rugs with ease. We are amazed at how much it picks up that we don’t even see. The floors look and feel so clean afterwards. It picks up cereal, peas, sand, rice, hair, crushed chips and leaves nothing behind. -The design of the head is really cool. It has what I’d call a pre-vac sweeper at the nose width of the head. It’s like what you’d see on the tail end of a street sweeper: a taller/wide rotating brush that grabs anything in its way and sends it back deeper into the head to be vacuumed up. This prevents—unlike the Dyson—larger debris simply being pushed out in front of the vacuum. If there is something in front of this head, you can pretty much guarantee that it’s going to get sucked up. I also don’t feel like I have to go over the same spot numerous times to w sure it got everything. -The vac doesn’t hang on a wall but it’s not a cordless Stick vac so I didn’t expect it to. Overall though, it has a small footprint and also doesn’t take up much vertical space when the canister is stored on the pole. Based on the small storage area needed for a corded vac, I’m putting this in the plus column in lieu of con. So the cons (seriously only two): -The canister should have a shoulder strap. This would make cleaning mini blinds, window ledges, lights, fans, or shelves so much easier. The canister isn’t crazy heavy—more bulky than anything—but the strap would add a ton of utility. I’m likely just going to fashion one from a luggage strap. Not a deal breaker by any means, but something to consider. -It would be nice if this came with some sort of attachment caddy. You can’t really mount the unit itself to the wall, but having something on the wall to simply store all the nozzles in one place would be a bonus. Using a clear plastic shoe box for this until I make my own caddy. Really though, we tell everyone with hardwood or LVP to buy this vacuum. I can’t speak to a fully carpeted house, but for our needs, it’s a game changer.

No carpet fluff, no vacuum lines, we returned
Our Bissell upright bit the dust after 7 years and I wanted to try a stick vac badly so I went for this model. We have some hard surfaces but mostly carpet and I have long hair, so I thought the DuoClean and Zero M were must have features. Out of the box it was easy to set up and lightweight, but ... after using it just a few minutes I could tell I wasn’t going to keep this. After pushing forward, the pull back felt like I was lifting it up off the ground. Weird. I couldn’t see where I had been (ie no vacuum lines) and it wasn’t pulling up and fluffing my carpet (yes I was in carpet mode). My best guess is that the duoclean roller was what was preventing the lines and fluffing. It DID do a phenomenal job on the tile and hard surfaces, and despite not leaving any lines, the dust cup DID get full so I know it was sucking fine, but overall it just didn’t cut it for our purposes. Which stinks cause I really liked the weight and the versatility of the overall machine. We returned this and purchased the Shark Navigator Lift Away with Zero M instead and we LOVE that one. It fluffs the carpet, leaves lines, and the hair does not wrap around the bar. Overall this is a good vacuum but beware it might not be PERFECT for you especially if you are coming from a traditional upright.

Didn't know it was possible to love a vacuum so much.
We have 7 cats. We have cat hair and cat litter everywhere. I did a lot of vacuum research and decided to go with a shark because they have a long warranty and get great customer satisfaction reviews. Consumer reports recommended this particular model. We love it. A) the ease of use is amazing; I love the little printed labels on the vacuum that mean even my husband can easily remember what goes where and how things come off etc. etc. B) love how lightweight it is and how nicely it maneuvers -- easy to get under stuff C) good suction. We have hard floor and carpets and it cleans both well. D) nice attachments -- you can use the attachments on the end of the long tube instead of the main roller suction part or just attach them directly to the motor/filter part for a corded handheld vacuum E) Super easy to unjam if you vacuum up something you shouldn't. Again: ease of use!! F) It works. We collect so much hair/litter/dust with this thing.

Love the duo clean
I’m all heart eyes for this vacuum. My battery went out on my other branded vacuum and I refused to buy their brand again. I saw lots of you tubers mention that this one knocks the other brand out of the park but it’s usually not cheap to get the no hair wrap brush as well as the fine brush that picks up particles as well as Cheerios... CHEERIOS! I rolled over a pile of granola and it ate it up no problem. Accidentally dumped vacuums collection container and it sucked up all the dust with a few swipes. If I roll an inch near dust it’ll swoosh into it from the SIDE. *sigh* One month in still amazing performance at just the right price. Cons: top heavy but top pops off and hooks in bottom so you can’t pause while vacuuming and expect it to stay up but it stores well. This con is also a pro: it’s so powerful that it’ll run away without you at first. Does not include a wall holder nor an accessory hook on board but both are available on sharks website. If that means I can afford the better vacuum then I’m fine spreading out my purchases.

Best Vacuum We’ve Ever Owned!
We received our Shark Apex DuoClean ZS362 today, and our minds are BLOWN! We have a large Boxer whose favorite pasttimes are SHEDDING and wallowing in our high-pile rug, so we are FREQUENT, OBSESSIVE vacuumers. We have a large, expensive, well-regarded bag vacuum; however, we have struggled to get dog hair both off our wood and tile floors, and ESPECIALLY out of our high-pile rug. Today, our new Shark sucked THREE MEASURING CUPS of dog hair out of our rug; and it sucked every particle of EVERYTHING off our hard floors! Our crawling Grandbaby was here at the time - his hands and knees had not a SINGLE dog hair or speck of ANYTHING on them after two hours of crawling around. In addition to THAT, my daughter and I both have longer hair, and the Shark sucked our hairs off the floor and STRAIGHT into the dust bin (which is REALLY BIG) without wrapping them around the beater brush and getting stuck. Last points - the Shark is REALLY easy to maneuver, fits under our kitchen cabinet edges, the 30 foot cord is terrific, and the huge dust bin is SUPER EASY to remove, empty and replace. And it’s even really beautiful! MINDS BLOWN! HUGE FANS!

Absolute best vacuum for pretty much anyone
This vacuum is absolutely amazing, especially for the price! Got this to tackle hardwood and carpet in a house with one very messy person who hates cleaning and one equally messy, very hairy cat and its handled everything we've thrown at it with ease, from hair and crumbs to dirt and cat litter. Pros-- Lightweight, super convenient, incredibly easy to use and convert from handheld to stick and back, great suction for a stick vacuum. Does the job on all floor types with no problem and it's super maneuverable for everything from getting under couches and through chair legs to over high thresholds on the floor. Comes with every attachment you can want and some pretty brilliant ones you wouldn't even think to ask for. The cup is super easy to empty and get back to cleaning again quickly. Best part is the zero wrap brushroll GENUINELY WORKS, with my hair length I'd be giving a normal vacuum a haircut every other use but with this there's literally never hair wrapped around it. Semi-cons-- dust cup could be a bit bigger, fills up pretty quickly but it is a stick vac and it's honestly a testament to how much this little vacuum picks up. The motor is at the top of this vacuum so if you're going to vacuum the entire house your wrist might get tired from maneuvering it but its way better than moving around a full sized one would be. Its also top-heavy when together so it doesn't stay standing but its very easy to detach the motor and hang it at the bottom of the stick for a second while you let go of it. Not cordless but there's no way you'd get this suction out of a cordless vac and you don't have to worry about the battery running out.

Good Concept, Missed the Execution
When using the floor attachment, it's been pretty good at cleaning up the massive hair (I have very long hair and have a 85 lb long-haired dog - together we shed at least 4 Pomeranians worth of hair). But when using the attachments, it's awkward cause the unit is heavy and the attachment just "slides" on. So I feel like the attachment connection should have been better. And when using the attachments, the suction is almost non-existent. Which I'm assuming has to do with how the attachments attach to the unit. My wrist also hurts trying to hold it upright on some furniture cleaning. Going back to their "no-tangle" technology, I've had this unit for over 6 months and I've only had to cut off the stuck hairs once. That is a HUGE improvement from my previous units where it was a weekly ordeal. I've broken two cordless Dyson vacuums and thought this would be my save all. I do believe that this has more suction power for longer because it is corded, I just wish it wasn't so heavy. But even with the weight, I wish the suction power existed when using the other attachments. The vent is awkwardly placed right at you, so when you're vacuuming, you have constant hot air blowing at you. So cliff notes: Suction Power 3/5 No-tangle technology 4/5 Weight 2/5 Ease of use 2/5 The floor attachment also locks in the 90 degree position when you are vacuuming closer to yourself. Wish it was a button to "lock" in standing position and doesn't do it automatically. Would I recommend this? Sure if the price of this was ~$100, but for what they are charging, I would saw it's better to just "suck up" and get the Dyson and extend the warranty. Oh and the wheels have made marks on my tile/laminate floors.. which is annoying to scrub off after you're vacuuming.

I Don't really have anything bad to say about this product,I think it's great
I think this is a great product, I had been looking for over a year for a product that could pick up cat fur and small particles of dust off the floor and also clean the carpet well, I was not willing to spend $500.00 to $800.00 dollars, So overall after the second cleaning , still very happy with my new vacuum, It sucks really well with high power on the second setting, The First setting is for floors and single carpets, It will not pick up anything that's stuck on the like stick crumbs , It clean stairs really well without attachments, It cleans with 3/4 of an inch on carpet and it sucks anything loose on the floors right to the corners, it's easy to maneuver under kitchen chairs. So overall a great vacuum.

Like how compact this vacuum is.
We bought it for its size. We like the options this vacuum has over some of the other ones we were looking at. I like the power it has. My wife wanted a cordless one, but the research on these stick vacuum’s was that a corded one gives you more power, hence more suction. We especially like the long cord. We live in a 1475 sq ft condominium and we only have to plug this in twice to do the whole house. It’s easy to take apart for various reasons. We also like the two lights that come with this vacuum, one on the floor attachment, and the other on the unit itself. This helps when you’re doing furniture and other hard to reach areas. The only thing we wish this vacuum came with, was a tool caddy, but other than that we’re very pleased with this vacuum.

Extremely effective but heavy
1. Extremely powerful and you only need to go over the floor once to have it swept clean. 2. The LED light is very useful for dim corners. 3. Hair does not get caught in the brushrolls at all. 4. Easy to store away I am amazed at how much dust this thing collected, which my other vacuum cleaner apparently ignored. Cons: The only con is that this is by no means a light vacuum and is therefore not easy to manoeuvre. It’s so heavy that you need to take a break every ten minutes to switch the weight about.
