Is this product supposed to rust? After first washing product seems to be getting tarnished? I did not wash this in the dishwaster?

I have had no problem with it rusting or tarnishing. It is a great product and the reason one does not put it in the dishwasher is the liquid inside of the scoop cannot take that high heat. I've seen these in ice cream parlors and they keep them in a container of water because they are in constant use. When I'm finished using mine, I just wash with a little soap and water, dry it off or put it in the drainer. I'd definitely recommend it.

What is the difference between the 1010 & the 1020 model?

They are different sizes. 1010 is a 4oz scoop and model 1020 is a 2oz scoop
