I was in 2 minds if this Umbrella really would be windproof. Well I tried it out today and here is my honest review. I live in a windy coastal town of Ilfracombe, Devon and we certainly get our fair share of wind and rain here. Going for my daily stroll around the local park it started to drizzle so I opened the Umbrella with a touch of a button and was impressed at the speed of erection. The overall size is good but I'd score the handle comfort just 7/10 as I found the weight a little on the heavy side. Whilst standing at the end of the park pond admiring the ducks...the wind had started building up and the brollie took a little shaking but was still good and sturdy. All was well UNTIL...... a gust of wind and I felt the brollie lift up a few inches and I had to hold on firmly. Concerned I would let go as the Umbrella slightly lifted again I grabbed the hold of handle with my other hand as tight as possible and as soon as I did, my whole body lifted off the ground and began slowly raising into the air. Scared I was going to fall I gripped the handle tighter and put on a brave smile as my feet past just inches away from the heads of shocked children who stopped feeding the ducks as they gasped and stared up at me. I was at least 20 ft in the air by now and being scared of heights I closed my eyes as the brollie lifted me over the duck pond and even higher into the air. The brollie felt sturdy and kept me dry from the light showers which i score 9/10 but when a gust of wind came it made a sudden voilent judder, I opened my eyes and saw that I was heading in the direction of the Harbour. I was flying over the rooftops of the harbour shops and got caught a stunning birdeye view of the little chapel on a hill and the Verity Statue. The rain had stopped now and people below where looking up and pointing at me and a seagull flew close, I forgot my fears and let go of the handle with one hand as i reached out to stroke it and missed. Said gull wasnt interested in getting affection from me, he had already made a fast decend to a bunch of unaware holiday makers and the carnage that followed in the next few seconds was shocking. Child screaming, mother shaking her fist, chips sprawled over the floor and the dad yelling bad language as he chased seagull who was now making his way out to sea with his mouthful of chips. That's when I saw it... the Bristol Channel. Comming to my senses and remembering I'm flying and was heading out to sea I started to panic and began kicking my legs in hope that I would lower. Then.... I was in total shock.... to my left, a short distant away from me came floating down was a kind looking gentleman with grey hair and halfmoon galsses on his nose and a newpaper tucked under one arm. He was also holding silmiar a looking umbrella He appeared very smartly dressed with a calm but slighty cocky expression as he held onto his handle with just one hand. He smiled at me on his way down and pointed to his own Unbrella handle and amongst the sound of me heavily panting with fear, I heard him faintly say "press the button 3 times" and he then landed ever so gently onto the pier and folded his brollie and walked into the pier cafe. Clicking 3 times i felt myself gently decend towards Veritys (statue) and my feet landed gently on her head and relieved I did not go out to sea. I heard the sound of sirens approaching whilst standing on the statues head looking around for a way to climb down. Thank goodness for our local fire crew who in no time set up there ladder and i was safely brought down. The fire officer rolled his eyes when he saw my new umbrella and said it was the 3rd rescue this week and that the umbrella should come with a warning and instructions. I agreed and thanked everyone and began to walk home. The heavens opened and it was absolutely pooring down with rain... but i was happy to get wet this time... no way was i using the brollie again until i contacted the suppilier and requested instructions. Still waiting to hear back. Overall happy with purchase.

I've bought 2 of these as I stupidly left one on the bus. That'd be the only reason to buy a replacement as this high quality umbrella comes with a lifetime guarantee! Living in Scotland and using public transport means I need a reliable, sturdy and hard-wearing umbrella. I used to buy Fulton but am absolutely converted to Repel. I've been spreading the good word to friends, family and colleagues, I can't recommend this item highly enough. It's compact and not too heavy but robust enough to fend off blustery wind and pouring rain. Being able to press the button to pop open and closed makes it very easy to use. The material is thick and of course completely waterproof. Customer service is prompt, polite and extremely helpful.

This is a handy, well-made travel umbrella that opens smoothly and fits nicely into a bag or car door. It handles standard rain and light wind very well, though it's not completely windproof in really strong gusts. Still a reliable umbrella overall.

I loved the umbrella, especially the red color on the inside. It seems sturdy—nothing has broken so far—and considering the price, it’s a great deal for what you get.

I need to actually test it in the rain, but it is very robustly built, but weighs significantly more that those ultra light travel umbrellas, but miracles don’t exist as there is a trade off between strength and weight. Per our kitchen scales this is 429g. You have to decide if that is too much for you. My last one was ultra portable and lite, but not much use, so I’m happy to give this a try.

Robust umbrella, not tested in high wind yet but is an ideal size for my work bag and feel like a quality product when open. Good water resistance, I’ve not been disappointed.

A good size umbrella that looks good and feels good. Obvious quality in the design and build. Wonderful that it folds into such a small size for travelling. Not yet tested it in very strong wind, but I feel confident to do so.

Have used it in the rain it’s a sturdy umbrella worth the money and hopefully lasts a long time!

I received a flimsy, pink striped, low quality umbrella that doesn't match the price or description at all. Requested a return.

自動開閉でかわいいデザインの折り畳みがなかなかありません。 今はこちらを使ってます。 電車内で長い傘だと満員電車になった際、自分も不快だし周りにも迷惑をかけるので折り畳み傘を使っています。 重いし、コンパクトではないですが自動開閉なので納得して使ってます。 付属のケースは多分傘作成時に余った端切れで作ったのかな？単色の傘と同じ生地の簡易的な袋がついてきました。 なので、中にマイクロファイバー付きのケースを買って使用しています。

Ayrıca tekli alımda (440 TL civarı) pahalıya gelmesine rağmen ikili alım yaparsanız (600 TL civarı) kargo bedavaya geldiği için uyguna almış olursunuz. Şemsiyeye gelecek olursak 9 adet tel kullanmışlar ve gayet güçlendirilmiş bir iskelete sahip. Kolay kolay ters dönmüyor ve şimdiye kadar da dönmedi. Üzerinde bulunan havalandırma boşluğu sayesinde rüzgarda ters dönmesinin önüne geçmeye çalışmışlar ancak henüz deneyimleme imkanım olmadı. Otomatik kapanıp açılması gayet randımanlı çalışıyor. Bazıları yayın sertliğininden dolayı şemsiyeyi kapatırken zorlanmış ama bence ideal bir sertliği var. Ne çok sert ne de çok yumuşak. Büyüklüğü tek kişi için ideal ama iki kişiyi kesinlikle yağmurdan koruyamaz. Kumaşına teflon kaplama yapmışlar ve çok iyi olmuş. Bu sayede kumaşı yağmuru çekmiyor ve ufak bir silkelemede üzerindeki suyun büyük çoğunluğu dökülüyor. Ancak şuna dikkat etmeniz gerekiyor: Şemsiyeyle işiniz bittikten sonra içininin ve dışının iyice kuruduğundan emin olmadan şemsiyeyi katlayıp kılıfına koymayın. Çünkü her ne kadar teflon kaplama olsa bile bazı küçük su damlaları hala daha şemsiyenin üzerinde kalabiliyor ve bazen aç-kapa yaparken iç kısmına su sıçramış olabiliyor. Eğer iyice kurutmadan katlayıp kılıfa koyarsanız zamanla kumaş üzerinde pas lekesiyle karşılaşabilirsiniz. En önemli avantajı ise ömür boyu garantili olması. TR için bu hizmet mevcut mu bilmiyorum ama yazıldığına göre mevcut diye düşünüyorum. Son olarak şemsiyenin sevmediğim bir özelliğini belirterek yorumumu bitireyim. Tutma sapının gevşek olmasından ötürü bir boşluk mevcut ve şemsiyeyi tutarken hafif sağa sola dönmesine neden oluyor. İleride bir sorun çıkarır mı bilmiyorum ama biraz rahatsız ediyor beni.
