Rosemary essential oil--a good product.
Update: 5/2/16: Last year I let the bug man go, because I use essential oils inside and out. This one (Rosemary) is a favorite: spiders, and bees (wasps, etc) hate it. I spray it inside the door frame (between the front door and the storm door), and in the windowells (I have bees that make nests), under the deck, and near (not on) the security cameras). I am still using it in my shampoo and bodywash. I have learned that essential oils can be used for so many things. Rosemary can be used as insecticide, an aid to coughs and colds, to help hair regrow. I also use them to "improve" my bodywash. (I use cheap shampoo as bodywash, because the brandname stuff is soooo expensive). One day at my brother's house, I used some of his liquid soap in the shower (I think it was liquid Irish Spring, not sure), and it had something in it, that gave your skin a real cooling "zing". Masculine, yes, but very refreshing. I could see why a man would really like this. The feeling stayed with me after the shower. Peppermint, and lemon and rosemary essential oils can provide this feel. The "rosemarins" in rosemary can be used to create a zing. You can use it as a cleaning aid: mix it with water and wipe down counters, cutting boards, etc. The other thing about essential oils that appeals to me is that the scent doesn't seem to bother people with multiple chemical sensitivities. Many of those sufferers cannot tolerate chemical or man-made scents of any kind. That translates into: no perfumes, no scented lotions, no artificial scents. Essential oil scents seem not to bother them (or at least don't bother the people with MCS I know) I put it in my shampoo, and bodywash, along with peppermint and lemon. I recommend this to everyone.

Strong smell, good oil
Disclaimer : I have an absurdly strong sense of smell that gives me lots of grief. I also dislike the smell of rosemary. Why buy it? BECAUSE ---it's a great product and I bury the scent under other scents I can tolerate. What does it smell like? Go sniff your spice jar and imagine that times 50. Yeah. So, the product is fantastic. I just hate the smell, but, I knew that before I even bought it. Crazy? Maybe. I've been accused, but I always pass the test. I find that rosemary essential oil is an ingredient in most of my lip balms, soaps, and even muscle rub recipes. I've been refusing, outright refusing, to buy this product forever because I hate the smell. I finally, under great duress and with a flagrant tantrum, ordered it. Sigh. This product is great for cell renewal, thinning hair, and oily hair. It is an alternative lice treatment, too. Mix it into your shampoo and conditioner. Mix it into your dog's shampoo to make a natural flea repellant and make someone else apply it. Make an herb bag of garlic, black pepper, spicy pepper (whatever hot stuff you got), and whole rosemary and simmer on the stove. Simmer and let it brew. I used a few coffee filters and filled them up, then used a rubber band. Pour liquid in spray bottle, add a dash of dish soap. All natural rabbit repellant. If you just have the essential oil, add a few drops. I had a rabbit invasion. Used this invention of mine once and never again have I seen a rabbit in my yard.

Hair growth
I have lots of short hairs sprouting up. I’m not sure if it’s solely the rosemary oil as I also use spironolactone and have for almost a year but one thing I can attribute solely to the rosemary oil is a reduction in scalp inflammation. I have had diffuse hair loss since I was 18 which was 22 years ago. Scalp biopsy showed TE and non patchy Areata. I have had inflammation that causes my scalp to be tender and up until recently, only head and shoulders helped that. It would hurt just to put my hair in a pony tail. I still have a lot of shedding but I have short hairs sprouting as well. I just started using this bottle 2 weeks ago and had been using a different brand. This is my second bottle of rosemary used over the course of about 3 months. This bottle is much bigger than the previous bottle that I bought so it’s a better value. The scent is strong but not offensive and it dissipates. I use this about 4-5 days a week. Sometimes I leave it on over night before I wash my hair in the morning, sometimes I use it right before I shower. I use a liberal amount, briefly massage it in and wash. I like the way my hair looks after I use this. I’ve also recently started using Olaplex no.7 on my hair itself and highly recommend that too. My naturally curly hair is less frizzy and fly away than it used to be but is not oily which is important for people with fine hair. I highly recommend Rosemary for scalp health.

Non-toxic pest control. Among other things.
I use this in conjunction with cedar oil to keep flees and other critters under control. I spray it everywhere and treat flee combs as well. Just wipe it on the comb and flees bounce. Smells good too! Spray it on bedding, door jams, window screens. Mix with H²O and some natural oil. Sesame oil is good.

Rosemary oil
It has a strong scent, but it's worth the money. I use it to exfoliate my lips, and as a pre-poo for my scalp. Sometimes, I use it as a cleaner for my bathrooms, it leaves a nice scent.

Solid performer in diffuser, more grassy than floral rosemary scent
I have other oils I like better (NOW, dT, YL) but this has a consistency that performs well in diffuser, and it is more neutral grassy and pine like rather than a floral woodsy rosemary. For the price point it does an excellent job freshening a room, and an adequate job in skin care. I would definitely buy it again as a general work horse of EO but for fine tuning fragrance and personal care this lacks nuance and is thinner consistency than other rosemary EO.
