Good stuff
Was very excited to get my kelp. There was a slight problem with the weather so I got an email stating it would take a little longer to arrive. It was still very quick on timing. We are enjoying it very much. I put it in a parmean cheese shaker. Have it right next to the stove. We sprinkle it on eggs or in soup. It is delicious and nutritious. Thank you

For the mineral content.
I take this for the same reasons I take vitamins and supplements. It's good for you but doesn't make you feel young again so maybe I expect too much. I have stopped using table salt and have opted for sea salt. I take this for the iodine and other minerals that kelp provides. The quality and taste is good so I will continue to buy.

add to popcorn or food,,
this seaweed is so good for my thyroid,,tastes good too on popcorn or food,,i put it in a 3 oz. shaker,,i don't use salt so this adds a little salty taste without the sodium that's not good for blood press..

Unsafe Packaging/No Returns
The packaging on the product I received looks nothing like the picture. The label does say "Vitaminsea" but it a sticker on a standard ziplock bag. I don't feel comfortable in this day and age eating something that is not packaged in a tamper proof / evident bag (as in this case). The use by date on the product is also only 6 months from the date of purchase which indicates to me that this stuff is probably almost 2 years old. To add insult to injury this product is non-returnable. So no, I do not recommend this product.

Not at all as expected- description is confusing
Not at all what we were expecting :( Description says Organic Sugar Kelp. Thought this would be a great snack fot our child who is iodine deficient. Prior to ordering, I clicked on item photos & tried to zoom in to read ingredients. The words were still too small / not legible but I could see that two words were listed...thought sugar & kelp. There is no sugar to improve taste. Learned the variety of this kombu must be called Sugar Kelp. Neither of us liked the taste. Description is misleading & product can't be returned. I have 2 stars because it is organic & naturally harvested. Took away stars for confusing product description.

Pretty fishy in my opinion
To be fair, I've never tried this type of seaweed, but I find it extremely fishy. Most reviews of this type of seaweed is that it doesn't taste fishy, but more like a mushroomy flavour. I'll purchase another brand and compare, but after trying when I first purchased and again the other night, I find it nearly unbearable. Sorry this is all subjective but it isn't for me.
