Excellent germination rate
Excellent germination rate. My plants are flowering and giving me tons more seed after about 4 to 5 months in a 3 gallon pot.

Impressive Hyacinth Bean Seeds for a Flourishing Garden! 🌱🌸
Here's why these seeds deserve a glowing review: 1. Abundant Seeds: The pack contains a generous 100 seeds, ensuring I have plenty to sow and share with fellow garden enthusiasts. 2. Stunning Climber: The Dolichos Lablab vine is a fast-growing climber that reaches up to 96 inches in height. Its deep green foliage with a hint of purple adds elegance to any garden. 3. Bi-Colored Flowers: Come mid-summer, the vine bursts into bloom with purple and white bi-colored flowers. These fragrant blossoms attract delightful visitors like butterflies and hummingbirds. 4. Electric-Purple Seed Pods: As if the flowers weren't enough, the striking electric-purple seed pods steal the show. They add visual interest and make for great conversation starters. 5. Perennial Potential: In USDA zones 9 - 11, this vine can be a perennial, gracing your garden year after year. For other zones, it grows as an annual climber. Planting Tips: - Preparation: Some gardeners recommend nicking the Hyacinth Bean seeds with a knife and soaking them in water for 24 hours before sowing. - Timing: Plant the seeds directly outdoors once the danger of frost has passed. - Attract Wildlife: Not only do these seeds create a beautiful display, but they also attract butterflies and hummingbirds.

99% germination rate (Hyacinth Bean Vine Seeds)
I soaked them for 24 hours and then planted in a good quality soil for seedlings. They came up 7 days after planting in a greenhouse that is about 80-90 degrees in the afternoons.

No Blooms
I planted these seeds in the ground as well as in pots to climb up the posts of our pergola. They sprouted quickly and grew long healthy vines. Unfortunately, the plants never bloomed. Never. Not once. If you are only wanting vines with no flowers, these seeds will work. However, if like me you are wanting blooms, buy elsewhere. Very disappointing.

Free Food, Mulch, and Compost Nearly Year-Round in 9b
Plant these if you want free food, free mulch, and free compost forever. Healthy plants will shade out anything you plant them near. Fresh leaves smell and taste great. Eat the leaves raw, or cook them like any other green. The kinda hairy texture persists even after cooking, but the taste is worth it. IMO growing them for beans isn't really worth it, but the flowers are pretty. Remember that they're light-sensitive - they'll only start blooming once the days start shortening again, or unless you stress them out. Also, continuously trimming them keeps them in regrowth mode - they'll keep focusing on new growth instead of reproducing. So if you want it to flower, leave it alone. If you want free salad, mulch and compost all spring, summer and fall then trim away.

Slow but steady.
I wanted to provide an update to an earlier review. I previously stated that the plants didn't grow hardly at all. They actually did grow pretty large but very slowly, faster after a month or so. No flowers and not all seeds worked but many did. I would buy again given the end result with these.

Excellent germination!
Excellent germination. On Tuesday I nicked and soaked for 24 hours. Wednesday I placed them in a wet paper towel and ziploc bag. I put the bag in a warm sunny window and on Thursday all are sprouting!

Excellent supplier with high quality seeds!
Fantastic seeds. Every one planted has sprouted and they're growing beautifully. Photo is after a few weeks and just waiting for the flowers! I'll definitely look for seeds from this company first in the future.
