Best stringer on the market
I shoot thousands of fish a year and this is by far the best dryer. There’s another brand similar and a little bit more durable, but this one has the Barb that keeps the fish from falling off. I’ve had my stringer come unlatched multiple times, and that Barb is a lifesaver.

Great product!
It’s an excellent product. Buy additional o-rings. They’re only 35 cents for a 10 pack. Salt water tends to rot rubber. (In case you’re not aware) Ensure that you spray it off with fresh water after use to prevent rust.

I saw this at spearfishing worlds 2021 this year. I just love this thing! Very well built and does what it should. If you spearfish than this is a must have....

Probably the best ready to use stringer you can buy
This is probably the best ready to use stringer you can buy. Only some DIY versions of the same idea can outperform it. The locking mechanism has been in use by fresh water spearfishermen of ex-USSR countries since previous century. The invention is usually attributed to Vitaly Vinogradov, as he promoted it back in his books and today on internet. Not sure he is the actual inventor though. The mechanism allows to lock and unlock with a single hand without looking down at the stringer. You don't need any special O-rings for it. You can cut a bunch of rings from an old bicycle tube and wrap them 2x or 3x, depending on width of the original tube. Vitaly also emphasized that perfect rope is rough nylon webbing rope. It allows to wrap extra slack of the stringer on a nearest weight on your weightbelt. It also prevents fish from sliding along the rope. I agree with that and use such rope, too. With some DIY skills you can probably improve this one to a better rope. You can search internet for "кукан виталия виноградова" and find a lot of texts and videos from Vitaly about pros of this design and how to use it. Here is a photo of my 20+ years old stringer of this design, that have had a ton on fish on it over these years.

Not that great
Stringer works but there are two rubber o rings that are used for the lock mechanism. One has broke already and the other one is dried and cracked. Poor design.
