Beginner duets they will love
Beginning students love when they can play something they know and it sounds good - this book offers that. This book has songs kids will know & will love playing. It’s written in 5-tone positions & the fingering chart is given at the top of the page. Works great with even young beginners. The teacher duet part makes the piece sound exciting & parents love hearing their children play these duets with their teacher!

Perfect Book for Young Beginners!
I use this book with my young beginner piano students, and it includes many of their favorite songs. They especially love playing "Yankee Doodle," "The Muffin Man," and "Row, Row, Row Your Boat." It’s a great collection!

Good supplement for young children just being introduced to the ...
Good supplement for young children just being introduced to the staff. Because most of the pieces are nursery songs, students already know them and love to learn how play them on the piano. The duet parts are simple, but enjoyable. I use this as the first supplement with nearly all of my beginning students. I have found however, that you must be very careful to watch out for students playing these songs by ear. Because they're common, it's easy for kids to go into autopilot. Of course, this is no fault of the book itself, and can be corrected by ample questioning and making the student read actively.

Very popular pieces for kids
Great choices that have the same level almost. Any student that's past Unit 8 in the Primer level in the Piano Adventure series will have no difficulty whatsoever playing any of them.
