I am so happy with these cameras. I only wanted one. I now have 3 and will purchase more of them. I already have the Arlo system but this is much cheaper to purchase and is a much better system. The solar panels easily charge the cameras even on cloudy days. If a camera does lose some charge, I just plug an waterproof battery pack into it for an hour or so to boost it. Then reinsert the solar panel again. The options and settings are amazing. You can do so much with it. The picture quality and sensitivity of the microphone have amazed me. You can hear every word someone is saying. Even if they stand around the corner out of sight and whisper. Definitely worth a purchase. I don’t have as many false alarms with these as I did with the Arlo system.

A good little camera with surprisingly good WiFi range. The app is a little odd in places but all the functionality is there and there is no subscription required unless you want cloud storage. So far the solar panel has kept the battery at 100%. My only criticism is the size of the bracket for the camera; it's really too short (much shorter than the one provided for the solar panel). Overall recommended.

I have a range of Reolink devices and this camera was purchased to monitor the elevated part of our garden. The device is mounted on a custom made pole with a full strength WiFi signal and the solar panel has a clear view of the sky. The camera detection range is quite poor even when the setting is set at maximum. The connection through the app takes about 5 seconds but the playback of a video clip very often freezes and starts skipping several frames at a time. I can remedy this by rebooting the camera but it’s getting tiresome. There are also problems with the battery percentage. On very cloudy days when the solar panel isn’t able to charge the battery, the battery gradually decreases from 100% to around 86%. At this point the camera won’t connect via the app and after removing it from the post and connecting it to a charger the battery is around 2-4% . How it drops from 86% to zero overnight is difficult to understand. The camera has now completely failed.

I already have several Reolink cameras and bought these to replace two old Swan hard wired 640 x 480's. The difference was immediately clear with far crisper pictures. The only thing I may have to do is put a WiFi repeater nearer the front of the house as we have thick walls. Be aware that the solar batteries can lose power fast in the short days of winter especially if used in high traffic recording areas or if you constantly monitor them. I shortened the post record time.

Simple to set up, self charging with a solar panel. Simple control on the app, great value for money. I have bought two and the customer support is excellent. Can monitor the house anywhere.

It’s a great piece of kit with some well thought-out software. The quality is much higher than you’d expect for this price. The customer service from Reolink is excellent. After 4 months my camera suffered an issue and Reolink replaced it without any problems. I’ll definitely be expanding my security system with more Reolink products.

Z uwagi, że zakupiłem cztery różne kamery marki Reolink (dwie obrotowe i dwie stałe) wszystkie zasilane akumulatorowo z udziałem panela solarnego to właśnie ta kamera jest najgorsza. Test trwał około roku. Służyła do monitorowania drzwi wejściowych do klatki schodowej. Najsłabszy jest w niej czujnik ruchu, który uruchamia się tysiąc razy ale nie wtedy gdy powinien (oczywiście redukcja fałszywych ruchów jest włączona). Kamera uruchamia się nawet gdy zaświeci słońce czy też najdzie chmura, ale gdy ktoś wchodzi do klatki uruchamia się bardzo rzadko a z uwagi, że zarejestrowanych w danym dniu na karcie jest bardzo dużo filmów bardzo ciężko jest wyłapać ten, który nas interesuje. Nawet przy zaznaczonej strefie wyłączonej z ruchu kamera się uruchamia i nagrywa potocznie mówiąc co chce i kiedy chcę. Nie nagra tego co dzieje się przy drzwiach, na które jest skierowana, tylko to co dzieje się 10 metrów dalej np przejeżdżający samochód. Poprostu jej nie polecam. Najsilniejszym jej punktem jest zasilany z panela słonecznego akumulator. Zarówno panel jak i akumulator dają sobie znakomicie radę nawet w zimie nie musiałem kamery ani razu doładowywać. Zamiast niej wolałbym zakupić jeszcze raz kamerę Reolink Argus 2E, która służy mi do monitorowania klatki schodowej i nie zdażyło się jeszcze przez rok aby nie nagrała osoby się po niej poruszającej a przy Rolink Argus Eco złodziej może działać bezkarnie. Obcje ustawienia, kąty, lewą stroną, prawa itp wypróbowałem już chyba wszystkie. Zdarza się nawet tak że wychodzę do pracy i kamera tego nie uchwyca, z 30 minut wychodzi moja żona uchwyca i nagrywa, po chwili wychodzi sąsiad i już zniwu nie nagrywa. Poprostu do bani. Drugi raz bym jej nie zakupił i innym nie polecam.

Die Kamera wurde schnell geliefert (nachdem die erste Bestellung im Weihnachtsgeschäft verloren ging, aber durch Amazon ohne Probleme schnell zurückerstattet wurde) Installation über den QR Code + Handy APP ging unkompliziert. Auch die Einrichtung über den PC und die Reolink Software lief reibungslos. Der Aufruf über den Browser via IP Adresse hat nicht funktioniert, warum auch immer. Aber Zugriff vom Handy und PC funktioniert über Software und App. also ist es über den Browser erst einmal nachrangig. Als Speicher habe ich eine Micro SD Karte eingelegt. Die Cloud als Datenspeicher ist nicht eingerichtet, ebenso lasse ich keinen Zugriff über das Internet zu. Somit sollten Stream und Wiedergabe auch nur innerhalb des WLAN Netzes funktionieren. (hoffe ich, nicht dass heimlich ein Port im Router geöffnet wurde..sehen kann ich dort nichts) Obwohl seit Installation vor 4 Tagen durchweg trübes Wetter herrscht, zeigt der mit Netzteil erstgeladene Akku noch immer 100%. Dazu muss man sagen, die Kamera hat bisher auch nur ca. 35 Aufnahmen mit kurzen Sequenzen sowie täglich zwei bis drei Live-Zugriffe vollbracht. Die Nachtaufnahmen sind für die Auflösung überraschend scharf und klar, Aufnahmen am Tage sind aktuell etwas durch die Hausfassade überblendet (kann man eventuell noch optimieren) und nicht so scharf wie die RLC510WA oder A (das war aber keine Überraschung). Der Bewegungssensor ist etwas träge. Bei einer Sensibilität von 50% wurden nicht einmal Katzen erkannt. Bei 85% nur zum Teil. Aktuell habe ich ihn auf 100% gestellt und es sind zumindest querläufige Katzen im Bild. Laufen Tiere direkt auf die Kamera zu, löst der Sensor nicht aus. Sind Tiere etwas schneller unterwegs, gibt es Schnappschüsse und Videos auf denen nichts zu sehen ist. Da mit dem gleichen Bild-Ausschnitt die RLC510WA 24/7 läuft, kann ich das gut beurteilen. Alles in allem bin ich aktuell schon sehr zufrieden, wenn man nur mal etwas auf dem Grundstück im Blick haben will. Zur Beobachtung von Tieren, wie z.B. einem Marderproblem am Haus, etc. sollte man dann eher auf ein anderes Modell zurückgreifen. Aktuell gibts 5 Sterne, sollte sich etwas im Zeitverlauf ändern, würde ich das dann anpassen. 26.03.2023: kleiner Nachtrag. Ich habe den Zugriff über das Handy einmal von außerhalb getestet. Es kommt ein Hinweis "Abruf über Mobilfunkdaten" .. und tatsächlich, obwohl ich es nicht zugelassen oder eingerichtet habe, kann ich alle meine Reolink Kameras über die App sehen. Streaming und alle Funktionen sind möglich. Im Router sind Portfreigaben deaktiviert und auf den ersten Blick auch keine freien Ports für den Zugriff sichtbar. Cloud ist nach wie vor nicht eingerichtet (aber wer weiß). Geheimnisse hab ich nicht, aber trotzdem ist mir sowas bissl unheimlich.
