Amazing!
I am 5 days post op from ACDF surgery ( anterior cervical discectomy & fusion). Had disc removed from my spine and bones fused together , I used the ones in the hospital as they really helped. I tried to find the exact ones from the hospital but couldn't so I took a chance despite some not so good reviews and purchased this brand. I'm so glad I did. The only con is that the bag can be sometimes hard to pop but once u do it activates quickly by shaking and rubbing together. And they get HOT!! hotter than the brand the hospital used. You'll def need a light barrier like a thin towel on ur skin. They last about 25 mins which is good especially when u place it over a chronic pained spot. I always give reviews when I buy products and I love reading them before I buy anything. I'm telling you to buy it! Im buying more for family members.Happy healing!

Super hot at the beginning
These are easier than other instant heat packs to activate, but they are super hot when first activated. I have wrap the pack with a double layer of T-shirt material in order to protect my skin. The heat is intense at the beginning but does fade more quickly than anticipated. I wish the heat could be lower but more sustained.

for emergency or when no reheat pads available
i have a few issues with these items BUT even with those issues they are very, very handy especially when no microwave is available for pads which are reusable. THESE ARE NOT. i have been having severe cramps and these heat packs are quite handy. YOU MUST use the sleeve when you use this after activation or you risk BURN INJURY. for the most part they are just large enough to get the job done and only if you use the sleeve or thin towel are very comfortable. so long as you dont break the plastic they are durable enough to get the job done and for my cramps they relax the muscles for pain relief. are they perfect? NO, since they are a one time use item but for camping, hiking, sleeping, at work, at home... no electricity needed. TAKE NOTICE OF THE BURN WARNING... USE WITH CARE

Alittle hard to activate. Some were easy, some harder to get it started. the Heat stayed for awhile, its gets very hot at first, would purchase again

Keep in mind, it's a hit or miss
I really lo ed this product and order this a few time and was very pleased but lately they have been sending expired or defective packs. I ordered this product and it came defective. All packs inside barely got warm. I then next day ordered again and the same thing happened. Be mind when ordering!

Does not stay in place
I liked that the heat pack was immediately hot, almost too hot to hold so must handle with care. The biggest problem with the pack is keeping it on the area that you want to heat. The pack is slippery, slides around, and is an ungainly shape and size. Wrapping it didn’t help.

Read the description on the back side of the bag don’t cut it open
