ZSF.1700 L METABOX Left Screw-On Drawer Standard Front Fixing Bracket, Nickel by Blum

I’m not a carpenter, but do perform routine maintenance at home and can do many little fixes without professional help. I’d never seen a hinge mechanism like this one (made in the USA). I needed both sides, left and right. I had to order from 2 different vendors via Amazon. I received the right side in 2 days. The left side came from the U.K. (I was surprised!), but was here in 2 weeks. The install took me 30 minutes and was very successful. I probably saved a couple hundred $. There are no instructions included. You have to figure out how and where to install (I was replacing 40 year old hinges so could see the installation placement).

This part was bought in conjunction with drawer slides and together they were a neat exact fit. I would recommend. Parts arrived early which was a plus definitely would buy this if I ever have replaced for another project.

The new replacements are made from sheet metal. The originals on our cabinets were cast aluminum, not strong enough for the daily opening and closing of the drawers. They fit in the drawers just like the originals. Great. Easy to replace.

The product is a bracket (left side), which appears to be substantially constructed and secures the drawer front (wood) to the steel sides of a pull-out drawer. The new bracket, which replaced a 30-year old broken bracket, was installed easily and quickly with no issues whatsoever.

Had Blum front fixing bracket ZSF 150-01 (left side bracket) fail due to heavy items in kitchen drawer (silverware). This failed bracket was original to the 1998 home’s custom cabinets. This new item Blum ZSF 1700 L appears to use better metal in it’s construction, and is the same size and fitment. Easy and quick replacement. Photo shows old and new item. My thanks go out to a previous reviewer who said it worked on the 150-1 part. It does. Hope this helps you all as well.

Doesn't fit accurately. Thought it might work well for the replacement but if you have to purchase make certain that it fits before installing.

My 'Rational' German-made kitchen is nearly 25 yrs old and spare parts are not readily obtainable in the UK (or from Germany). I found this drawer bracket on Amazon in the USA. This and a spare set (left and right) cost many times as much to send as they did to buy but are one hell of a lot cheaper than a useless and untidy kitchen drawer. A perfect replacement and very satisfying too.

Was the exact replacement for draw front. Thought I was sunk without it.
