I now sleep the whole night through!
I highly recommend this awesome pillow to all my prego sisters out there! I've had this for almost two weeks now... and haven't slept this well in months! (I'm currently at 30 weeks) I haven't woken up in the middle of the night, unable to get back to sleep since it arrived. It feels super comforting having it wrapped around my body, and has relieved the pain in my hips from sleeping on my sides. Totally worth the money! We need to get a decent night's sleep, and I say, do whatever it takes to achieve that!! (while we can, right?!) I still haven't tried all the other pillow position options yet, so am excited to test those out. (The pillow is super bendy, and can get into all kinds of pretzel positions! It even comes with a chart of pictures and descriptions of the various shapes it can be moulded into.) I'm also looking forward to lying with my Snoogle and baby!! Oh and there's plenty of room in our double bed for me, baby bump, hubby, Snoogle, and our cat! I got the jersey cover because I wanted softer fabric against my skin, and thought it was worth the few extra dollars. Enjoy!

So Versatile.. LOVE THIS!
I bought the snoogle at around 14 weeks when my back and hips started making sleeping a bit uncomfortable. Now (at 20 weeks) I don't know how I'd be sleeping without it. It is so comfortable. Besides sleeping (which I use it in both positions- as I flip over in the middle of the night) I use this while watching TV, working from home, etc. and it's a great prop up pillow. I also like the fact that I can use it while nursing. Is there anything this pillow can't do? I carry it around from room to room, as I just can't really get comfortable without it. I am very petite (5'0) so my only complaint is the snoogle doesn't fit me as well as it should (it doesn't wrap around me like in the picture, but instead, overlaps where there should be a gap in the pillow). I wish it fit me a bit better, but again, I'm 5'0. Nothing fits me quite right! HIGHLY recommend this for all pregnant women out there! UPDATE: I'm now 30 weeks, and I can't say I'm as in love with this anymore. In fact, it's sort of a love/hate relationship now. It's gotten significantly less "fluffy" and isn't nearly as comfortable. Even after I wash the cover, within a week the outside cover has little bumps from using it (ie not soft/smooth anymore). I'm part of a mom's group on Facebook and many of the women on there have said the same thing. Just not doing it anymore. I guess I might suggest buying this later in your pregnancy-- so it's fluffy when you really need it (3rd trimester when you're super uncomfortable and it's hard to sleep!) Wish I hadn't bought this so early so it still felt new. :/

This pillow is easily one of the best maternity purchases I've made
This pillow is easily one of the best maternity purchases I've made. For some reason I had back pain early in my pregnancy, and while I probably could have just bought another pillow to put between my knees, I decided to get this since I figured I'd only use it more as pregnancy went on. In the first and second trimesters I liked to sleep with the long side of the pillow against my back, with my head and knees on the little parts of the "C" that stick out. In my third trimester I'm preferring to sleep with the long side of the pillow against/supporting my belly. It really has helped me get into more comfortable sleeping positions. The cover on this pillow is soft and machine washable. Be forewarned though; even with the zipper it's still a huge pain to put the cover back on. I don't understand why it's so hard, but I've struggled every time I've tried to put the cover on. Last time I struggled through it only to zip it up and realize it was on totally backwards. After we both laughed at it (albeit my laughter was mixed with some tears), my husband undid it and redid it perfectly. It's his job from now on. I don't blame the product though; I think it's just the nature of any full-body pillow cover. Plus he did it a lot more easily than I did. Overall, I really do love this pillow. And after I have the baby, I can see other uses for this pillow; I can use it for tummy time, the cats can lay in it, my husband can use it when he's napping, etc. When I first bought this I wasn't sure it was worth the expense, but now I can't imagine going through pregnancy without this.

Not perfect, but I'm a believer
I bought the original pillow at first, and brought it to Beijing where I was living. Was about 4.5 months along at the time and the first night I used it, I could feel a huge difference waking up the next morning. My back felt happy and aligned, my knees/hips weren't sore and I had slept better overall. Couple months later we found out we were moving back to the States, so I sold the pillow knowing we wouldn't have room in our luggage for it. By then i was about 7 months pregnant and the few nights I spent without it were so uncomfortable they convinced me to order another one so it'd be waiting for me as soon as I stepped off the plane. This time I sprang for the jersey cover, which definitely increases the snuggle factor on the pillow by about ten times. MY USE CASE (OR WHY IT WORKS SO WELL FOR ME) -I'm 5'4" and have had a very normal first-time pregnancy. I'm also generally a very good sleeper -I like to start the night on my side but invariably end up sprawled on my back, which doesn't work for pregnancy. With the snoogle, I could start on my side but the pillow would curve behind my back and keep me from turning onto it. -It took some trial and error to figure things out but it always turned out best to curve the pillow behind me (much like the main product picture). -I have never used any of the other pregnancy body pillows so can't compare products for you, but I could see how for a woman much taller or shorter, the snoogle might not work as well. I already felt sometimes the pillow was a tiny bit too long. I've learned to tuck the bottom end under my belly, have the bottom curved part go between my knees then run up nice and flush along my back, and then I tuck my shoulder under the bend at the top and pull the remaining length of pillow around for my arms to kind of hug. This has become my default position. -at 8+months, sometimes I swirl it up like a snail shell and lean it against our headboard to sleep inclined. This works well too. CONCERNS Honestly, this pillow has made sleeping so easy this pregnancy that's its hard for me to think of faults. That said, here are some stray thoughts: -the quality. Some have complained about this, but I find no problems with it. The stuffing does get a little looser/floppier after consistent use, but not in a way that has rendered the pillow ineffective (we'll see if this is still the case if I try to use it for a second pregnancy). I beat the pillow up quite a bit too and my husband also uses it throughout the day to support his back while he's working on his computer. We also lump it up and take it in the car when we travel every weekend to see the in-laws. -the price. I agree that the product is a bit overpriced for the materials it's made of. If you splurge and get the jersey cover, it drives it up to just under $70, which I had trouble justifying at first. Having said that, I have not once regretted spending the money (even for the cover, which really does make the pillow extra-cuddly) and would gladly buy another one. In the end, it's hard to put a price on good sleep and a happy back. I can only hope the price reflects more than the materials, and is also meant to cover the thoughtfulness of the design.

Finally some sleep!
Let me start by saying that although I have purchased many products from Amazon, this is the only one that has compelled me enough to write a review. Also, I have no bun in the oven, I know this pillow is advertised for women who are pregnant but I think the Snoogle is great for anyone. I decided to buy the Snoogle after trying and failing to get a good nights sleep with a regular pillow, a memory foam pillow, and a contour memory foam pillow. Not only did I try different pillows but I started drinking chamomile tea, taking melatonin, bought new bed sheets/blankets and wearing an eye mask and ear plugs. Before my Snoogle, the only way to sleep that was comfortable was snuggling next to my boyfriend, which obviously is an impractical way to sleep all night long. My Snoogle arrived quickly and was all ready to get snuggly. It took me a few nights to figure out which way I preferred to snuggle my Snoogle and I found that I like to use it to sleep on my sides and my back. The Snoogle overall is very comfortable, I really like the jersey pillow case which is very soft and I like that the pillow is curved an not as bulky as a regular body pillow. The only cons regarding the Snoogle are that it takes up a bit of space on the bed and my boyfriend was little jealous at first, he needed some one on one time with the Snoogle to realize that it wasn't a replacement for snuggling with him (although I did catch him snuggling my Snoogle quite a few times). I was concerned about the price, but concluded that I could return/resell it or get lucky and actually get a good nights sleep. I have had my Snoogle for almost a month now and I love every snuggly night with it!

Sleeping soundly is worth the price.
I'm slightly sorry to add another 5 star log to the fire, but I really do love this pillow. Before I purchased it, I was having trouble getting a decent night's sleep with any number of other pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, etc. all packed around my body, between my arms and legs, and under my neck. I didn't want to like such an expensive pillow that looks so ridiculous on the bed, but it's been fantastic. I'm 5'6" and 32 weeks pregnant, and I can wrap the top end under my neck and cuddle it with my arms while still having the bottom end between my legs and under my stomach. For the first time in my life, I am sleeping without covers or sheets over me because my stomach feels protected by the pillow. However, it may also be keeping me very warm at night - my husband gets all cuddled up under the covers because I have to have the AC on to keep cool enough to sleep. It never occurred to me that the pillow might be the culprit until I read some of the other reviews. Either way, it's well worth the temperature adjustment. As one other reviewer mentioned, it can be a bit of a struggle to turn over at night. I've got a routine going for when I want to lie on my right side for a while, but it takes some effort to unlace the pillow from between my legs and then redo it. Also, getting out of the bed to go to the bathroom when the pillow is between you and the edge of the bed can be challenging. The loose end of the pillow once flopped out and knocked my glass of water onto the floor, thus making sleep difficult for a while as I cleaned up. All told, I really do love this pillow, and it's going to be tough for me to give it up when pregnancy's over and I don't have an excuse to let it take up half the bed anymore. In the meantime, I'm going to keep snuggling for all it's worth and appreciating that I'm a rare pregnant woman without trouble sleeping.

I'm not pregnant
I'm not pregnant but this pillow was recommended by my chiropractor for neck and back pain. I found that I was frequently falling asleep on my couch, but couldn't sleep at all on my bed. This pillow has put me back into my bed at night. This is because I can pull it tight against my back and it supports my back (much like the back of my couch did.) Even better, the bottom part fits between my knees and keeps my spine aligned. As a side sleeper, I flip from side to side, and have found this pillow took a day to get used to flipping it by rolling it with me. When I watch tv, it makes a PERFECT back rest for sitting up. I can also curl part of the doughnut in front of me and rest a book or my laptop on it. Have used it every day for two months now and LOVE it. It looks strange, and without my chiropractor's recommendation, I probably would not have spent the money....but I am SO glad I did! Also, I am tall (5'9") and I find that it is big enough for my frame, but it would also work with a smaller person as it is flexible in all the right places.

Had a change of heart (^.^)
it was quite an ordeal deciding which pillow to go with. As i am sure most of you already know :) But i narrowed it down to this one and was quite pleased. I have owned this pillow for almost a month and i am over 3 months along with baby :) It is hot at first, like the reviews say and this does have a height limit. am 5'4 and i can wrap it all the way around me perfectly and this is how i mostly like to lay in it. Supported all the way around. If this is you as well, and you are taller then i, you might want to consider a bigger pillow. he stuffing does go flatter, so i have taken a medium firm feather down pillow and use that under the head portion of the pillow. I also use a pillow for my feet. For me, my feet feel funny not having some kind of elevation with this pillow set up. Yes, this pillow is suppose to leave you supported with just it alone BUT everyone is different. I gave it 4 stars because with some adjustments, it is quite a cozy noodle. Hope this helps. Be well! UPDATE: Had the pillow for about 5 weeks. I finally just had to get a refund. It is flat and I am just a week away from 4 months along. I have got quite a haul ahead of me. I am going to look at another kind of snoogle. My first loves the cheaper basic snoogle body pillow. Much luck to you on your pillow search
