I love this tea, I hope they never stop making it. Yes, it’s very bitter but bitter herbs are extremely good for our liver. I actually enjoy the taste & it’s very potent. This tea combined with healthforce superfoods, ultimate probiotic was a game changer for me. Love it, love it!!!!

This product supposed to be “medicinal”. Therefore, I did not expect it to be a great tasting average herbal tea. It has various tastes blended together and gives a distinct flavor. I know for many, it is not very pleasant thing. However, I bought this “tea” specifically for it’s healing properties comes with “kutki” or Picrorhiza kurroa. It is well known for it’s medicinal powers and as well as for its bitter taste. I am also aware about the fact that Ayurvedic medicines are not commonly sweet or pleasant but In return you get effective healing properties with minimal side effects. I give five stars for shipping, packaging and making this rare herbal medicines available for us. I bought this for my liver condition. I do not know the results yet. To enjoy this well, please try making it in a tea pot with several cups full of hot water. If you have it in your coffee mug, it would be horrible.

I love this tea! It’s such a healing detoxifying tea. I drink one almost every night. It’s a tea for health, not a tea that tastes like candy. There are a million other teas that are for the flavor. I love the flavor of this tea when I add I little almond milk and honey to it, it’s really good and earthy in flavor. It’s getting harder and harder to find it, please don’t stop making this tea! It’s hard to find a tea this healthy and potent.

Disgusting. I love Tulsi teas- however, this one is not drinkable. Had no idea I wouldn’t be able to return a subscribe and save item. It is bitter and not drinkable.

I love organic India products and buy these teas often, I love Tumeric Ginger and rose, they used to make a caffeine free chai but I can’t find it. This particular flavor “cleanse” is very medicinal tasting, bitter not easy to get down

This is one of my favorite teas, but I must admit, it is an acquired taste. I suppose I would describe it as slightly bitter and earthy tasting, and I didn't care for it when I first sampled it, but I drank down a few cups to experience the health benefits of holy basil. I liked every subsequent cup better than the last, and I am at the point where I buy this stuff by the case! It's a caffeine-free, healthful tea that I really enjoy.

EDIT UPDATE: While I wouldn't order this tea again, it feels like it might be useful for medicinal purposes, so I've upped my star rating from 2 to 4. Tried the first brew of this & immediately was glad that I'd brewed a small cup & had atypically put some honey in. Yuck! I gave it two stars in the hopes that - if I manage to drink a cup or two a week - it has some discernible, positive effects. It DID make me hot. I had to take my sweater off for a moment. It does feel totally like medicine, in that I should wait a bit for it to absorb before beginning a workout.

I enjoy this tea. It does have a different flavor but I am use to it and do enjoy the tea very much.
