Monica is back to finish what she started with James and Jasmine Cinque. The 3 of them had a threesome and she continued to sleep with both of them. After she falls in love with Jazz, Monica plots to steal her from James.This book picks up were the other left off, and Jazz catches James, Monica and Sheila in action on her kitchen table. Of course she leaves James. Soon Monica finds out she is preganant and so does Jazz. Is James the father of both ladies babies? As Jazz and James try to piece their relationship back togther Monica is hating from the sidelines.A lot about Monica's past is revealed and you can see why she is into women b/c of abuse she suffered from her perverted uncle. Monica has a lot of enemies so she better beware, some of them are plotting a sweet revenge on her.I gave this book 4 stars b/c I didn't like the ending I was expecting a big bang a real shock, and it just kind of fizzled out, still a good read but read "My Woman His Wife" first.

OMG! First off I was all excited to buy this book and to have it in my hands to read it. So let me say this and will make this short it was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT to me it just made me angry cas Anna is a talented writer the other books before this one were all off the chain. I felt she didnt take her time with this one, The end could of been better matter of fact the whole AFTERMATH should of been way better. What a waste of money, I would recommend that u try to borrow this book from someone or the library if you want to read this book and see for yourself. WARNING! This book may cause face to turn red and smoke coming out the ears. Question you may ask yourself- Why did I buy this book and not borrow?

The "Aftermath" picks right up from where the first book "My Woman His Wife" left off. James, Jasmine and Monica are back still reeling from the effects of their actions...all in the name of lust.I was really looking forward to this book as I really enjoyed Ann's first book. But I was disappointed with this author's second novel which lost it's steam somewhere in the middle of the story. James and Jasmine actions left me wondering why they were even married in the first place. All they did was live out their sexual fantasies and fall victim to their own lust. Learning about Monica's past was essential to the story line but the build up of her crazy personality was a let down. I kept waiting for crazy Monica to do something explosive but that never happened. I got the impression that she was crazy in love with Jasmine; so why did she have the baby and then just give up and leave town? She knew Jasmine still wanted her, so there was still a window of opportunity left to really stick to James. And the introduction of Carlos and his drama was irrelevant to the plot. Too many questions left unanswered...My Woman His Wife is definitely the better book!LocksieARC Book Club Inc.Star Rating ***3.0

Series very good

This book sucked!!! This book was far beyond disappointing to me. I read the first book, (My Woman, His Wife) and thought it was actually pretty good. I patiently waited for "The Aftermath" and was excited when it finally released. I read this book in 2 days. Not because it was so good, but just to see where the hell she was going with it. This book was so rediculous! Towards the end, it became a circus act--where she juggled all these different underdeveloped characters around. The book seems to be unfinished. It doesn't tell you what exactly happens and how Monica eventually gets even with some of the characters. The book just kind of drops you off at the end with no real closure. The first book built a great plot, leading you into the second novel. But the second novel fell completely apart. I gave her one star for admitting she's the author. If I ever see Anna J, she owes me $15!

My woman his wife was an amazing book, had me in it non stop I think I finished it in 2days I wass feening to read this book and it ended so corney the story line started failing into its 3rd chapter I only kept reading it to see what would happen. How could part 1 be so good and part 2 be so lame? It should have been way juicier.

Definitely used condition. Cover is worn and bent and pages are yellowish but book is readable.
