Einhell Cordless Lawnmower 30cm with Battery and Charger 18V PXC

This is the first Battery mower I have purchased, and I have to say I like it indeed. I have a small garden and the lawn is medium sized and the mower did a great job on the first cut. Its well designed, lightweight and easy to assemble. The battery and charger which comes with it are good. Charging is good took about 1hour to initially charge up, happy with that. Do like the idea of using same battery for more than tool. Very happy with my purchase.

Lovely mower. Works well, charges quickly, is lightweight. However it is too difficult to change the blade height. Our old mower had a lever to do this, but this one needs manual moving against a strong spring for both sets of wheels. Quite difficult for us as I have arthritis in my hands and my husband has Parkinson's. It will have to remain at the low height we set it at as we dont have the strength to alter it. Also to assemble the grass cutter took us ages. It is a shame as the mower is first class! We are pleased with it though. Additional review after a year: I cannot recommend this mower. I can only use it on low cut as it is impossible to change the height with arthritic hands. Also cannot get the battery or key into and out of the mower very easily at all. I have been in severe pain after doing this. We now have to buy a different mower after a year that is easier to change cutting height and to insert the battery and key. Also I am finding the weight is too much for me now. I would say this mower is suitable for a younger fit person with no disabilities.

This is a super mower. Easy to use and efficient. Great battery as well which works with this manufacture's other products.

I've always had petrol rotary mowers, but since moving to a smaller garden (and the petrol one breaking down), I thought I'd give battery a go. Initially, the lawn was quite overgrown so had to strim it down first. This mower struggled a little when it got bogged down in longer/thinker tufts, but it worked through it quite well. When cutting the longer grass it really drained the battery. the supplied battery was landing 10 minutes or so. Having said that now it is all under control this time has doubled so long as you mow regularly (weekly/10 days). I subsequently bought the larger battery that does the whole lawn and more. Battery charges reasonably quickly, and the mower is super lightweight and easy to move around. Seems fairly robust for something made out of plastic, just need to be a bit more careful compared to a petrol mower I guess I guess my lawn is around 15m by 15m and once the initial cuts were done, this mower cuts quickly and cleanly. Very impressed so far (about 5 cuts done)

this is my best garden purchase for awhile, great cut and easily adjusted for height, battery just about lasts a small garden and nice and quiet

I'm thinking of returning this item. I'm not entirely happy with the cutting length. I'd like it to be closer to the grass to cut shorter but can live with that issue. However, the battery takes a long time to charge then lasts about 15-20 minutes. That's no good to me. The size of my lawn, front and back, means it takes me about 45 minutes at least to cut. Very disappointed.

Is it lightwheight - Check Doesnt have wires - Check but that is pretty much all it has going as a pro. as con's go, grassbox is poorly designed, dreadful to assemble, grass collection is dubious at best. the lack of easy height adjustments along with the lack of power to push the grass towards an upward facing basket makes the basket clog easily. I have two small patches of grass. I needed 3 batteries each and the results are awful. I'll give it a chance because grass was a bit overgrown and the weather was not helping. This will probably work if you have a manicured garden and you trim your lawn twice a week so you only have to trim your lawn and not actually mow it, other than that, its sufferable. The battery is ill dimensioned as 3 batteries at 3ah/ea was not barely enough to mow 4sqmts. My wife is telling me to return it, as frustration hit hard with it. I'm very tempted to be honest. I'll update this after my next attempt

This seems to be a useful replacement mower for a small lawn area. It is very easy to assemble, especially if you first check one of the Youtube videos showing how to do it. I would have given 5 stars but the grass box seems very flimsy. It is the most difficult part to assemble, but if you carefully position the notches and push so that the plastic doesn't bend as you click it together, it works. It cut the grass well on one battery charge but we have only about 22 sq meters, and the grass was short.

Da dies meine erste Wohnung mit (Roll)rasen ist und ich einige Fragezeichen zuvor hatten, was man denn so kauft, schreibe ich jetzt ebenfalls eine Rezension, um vielleicht ein paar Fragezeichen bei anderen verschwinden zu lassen. Prinzipiell wächst mein Garten wie Unkraut, zumindest für jemand, der zuvor noch keinen hatte. Auf den Bildern sieht man die Höhe der Gräser vor (Bild 1) und nach dem Mähen (Bild 2+3). Da mein Garten alle 5 Tage diese Höhe erreicht, versuch ich entsprechend diesen Mäh-Rhythmus beizubehalten. Zu Beginn hab ich mir mehr Zeit gelassen und als der Rasen deutlich höher war und es zudem hohe Temperaturen hatte, konnte es sein, dass der Akku heiß lief und der Mäher stoppte. Dann hieß es warten. Wenn man aber regelmäßig mäht, stellt das kein Problem dar. Die Bilder nach dem Mähen sind auf Schnittstufe 2. Es gibt in Summe drei Schnittstufen. 1 - kurz / 2 - Mittel / 3 - etwas länger. Ich habe einmal auf 1 gemäht, aber das war dann eigentlich schon zu kurz und es zeigten sich braune Stellen, sodass ich normalerweise auf 2 arbeite. Bin ich doch mal länger weg, stell ich zuerst auf 3 und geh am nächsten Tag nochmal auf Stufe 2 drüber. Die Schnittstufen sind manuell simpel verstellbar. Das dauert keine Minute und erfordert minimalen Krafteinsatz, aber kein Hexenwerk. Die Bilder zeigen den kompletten Gartenabschnitt, den der Akku mühelos mit einer Ladung schafft. Durch das viele Plastik ist der Mäher auch nicht wirklich schwer und ich lasse ihn anschließend unter einer Plane auf der Terrasse stehen. Der Fangkorb funktioniert wie er soll und der Aufbau war kinderleicht. Ich hab noch eine Bürste dazu gekauft, einfach in der Motivation, ihn regelmäßig zu säubern, was ich aber durchaus fahrlässig angehe :) Gut zu wissen ist noch, dass wenn das Gras feucht ist, der Mäher schnell verstopft. Also da lieber noch den einen Tag länger warten oder einen mit mehr Qualität kaufen, falls andere Mäher da besser sind. Unterm Strich kann ich für den Preis nichts sagen und ich kann meinen Garten regelmäßig innerhalb von 20 Minuten mähen.

Niestety ale ta kosiarka nadaje się tylko do nie-gęsto zasianej trawy i w szczególności do odmian trawy o cienkich liściach. Mam mieszaną trawę na działce i niestety ale kompletnie nie daje rady. Akumulator 4aH który dokupiliśmy wystarcza na mniej niż deklarowane w opisie aukcji. Chyba zwrócę bo tylko połowę 1/4 działki daję rade skosić, potem samoistnie się wyłącza akumulator szybko schodzi no nie daje rady, kupię spalinową - ten model jest ok tylko na bardzo chudą trawę, do innych twardych traw mozna zapomnieć że uda się coś skosić.
