Mulino Bianco: "Biscottone" Shortbread cookies with crumbly pastry - 24.69 Oz (700g) [ Italian Import ]

I bought these when I visited Italy last April. So good and so addicting! I was so happy to find I could purchase in the States from Amazon. And yes, there are broken cookies and crumbs created during shipping, hoping they find a better way to box for shipping, but I'm just so happy to be able to treat myself occasionally with Biscottone!

These cookies aren't real hard to bite but have enough crunch to them. A bit expensive but take that into consideration since it comes from Italy to the US. Only issue I have which is the reason for 4 stars, the bag on it's travel must've been beat to death because there were half cookies (half of those broken) and the other half were crumbs. Take a pack of shortbread cookies step on half the package then open them. That's the description of what I received except it was a decent size bag. Smh. Great light flavored cookies but getting them without half crumb and half broken cookies will never happen. Just be aware of the problem. Even though the bag was properly packed. It's what happens when you ship delicate food items. Expect it with these especially.

This is great product but the delivery was not good. They shipped cookies in a paper bag. By the time I received it, it was a bag of crumbs and pieces. They were $19.00 and delivery was both disappointing and damaging.

I love this product! However, most of the biscuits were broken and there was at least three inches of crumbs in the bottom of the bag. Very disappointed, especially for the price.

The cookies in the package arrived all crushed up. Cookies were mostly bits and crumbs when I opened the bag and I can’t even get a refund.

My item arrived open and the cookies were practically dust.

Ho provato il Biscottone Mulino Bianco e ne sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa. La consistenza è croccante ma non troppo dura, perfetta per essere inzuppata nel latte o nel tè. Il sapore è delicato, con un tocco di dolcezza che non sovrasta il palato. È un biscotto che sa di tradizione, ideale per una colazione semplice o una pausa pomeridiana. Mi è piaciuto soprattutto per la sua versatilità e il gusto genuino. Lo consiglio a chi cerca un biscotto classico e soddisfacente.

I biscottoni sono probabilmente i biscotti di sempre della Mulino bianco , li ricordo sin dall'infanzia, biscotti semplici ma buoni , direi ottimi per iniziare la giornata o per concedersi una pausa gustosa. Essenzialmente sono dei biscotti con una forma allungata e sono fatti di pasta frolla e cosparsi di granelli di zucchero; ed è questa la peculiarità di questo biscotto: i Granelli di zucchero, che li rendono davvero molto buoni regalando al palato un sapore del tutto originale seppur semplice. Sono dei frollini molto appetitosi e si sente molto il sapore del latte in essi contenuto , non sono dei biscotti molto leggeri , infatti me ne bastano 4-5 al mattino per una sana e buona colazione, per quanto riguarda l'apporto calorico , ogni biscotto contiene circa 34 kcal , quindi un pò calorici ma hanno tanta bontà, perfetti non solo a colazione ma anche accompagnati vicino ad un thè o una tisana per un ottimo momento relax oppure mangiati così a " secco" , il prezzo offerto è molto competitivo e considerando l'ottima qualità dei biscotti vi è senza dubbio anche un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Spero che la mia esperienza d'acquisto possa esservi stata utile, alla prossima ✌️

Veramente inzupposo come dicono!

Questi biscotti mi fanno impazzire ma le compro al supermercato perché costano meno.

Seguendo un link da un canale di una nota applicazione chat, ho riscontrato questa offerta che prevedeva un bi-pack di Biscottone (biscotto da latte per eccellenza) Mulino Bianco. Che dire, rispondenti in tutto e per tutto al prodotto che si trova negli scaffali dei supermercati, ma a circa metà prezzo! Tempo di consegna non velocissimo, ma ampiamente in quello indicato già in fase di acquisto. Consigliato sicuramente!
