I gave away my Beats headphones ...
when I started using Sennheiser headphones. Beats are consumer grade crap. Great if you are a casual music fan and want to impress people, or if you want an excuse to get mugged on the Metro Red Line through L.A. but no good if you are a musician and need to hear a critical flat EQ response. I need that flat EQ all the time, and since I am not taking my Beyerdynamics out into the filthy world, I use my Sennheiser HD 280Pros. These are GREAT for the price, much more accurate and dynamic than anything else at that price point. But I wear them so MUCH the ear pads wore out so I got these. They were a lot easier to install than I thought. They feel great too. So when do think Fever Ray will do another album ?

Work fine..once you get them attached.
I've had my Sennheiser 280 headphones for years, using them regularly for professional audio work. Well eventually the ear pads started disintegrating. I wanted to keep my headphones but also not pay what Sennheiser was asking for their replacement ear pads. So I went with the Vever at a much more affordable price point. Replacing the pads is challenging. It takes quite a bit of stretching to get them to fit over the ear piece. Eventually, I used a small Jewelers screw driver to help slide them around. Once on, they're fine. I've got my 280's back, good as new.

Not stock, but works perfectly fine.
So the cups on my Sennheiser HD280's started flaking apart as they always do, and I bought these to replace them. the construction isn't perfect, you can tell the cups are just a bit the wrong shape to be original, but they block out noise and function exactly as expected. I would buy again, and I likely *will* be buying again in a few years, that's just how these things go.

Very hard to install
Obviously very good value for money, but I found them incredibly hard to install. Once installed they were comfortable. How long they will last - compared with the mfgr's product, which is very expensive - remains to be discovered.

Seem well made
Just got them - install was tolerable, but not easy - though that is probably the design of the headphones rather than the design of the replacement. As the OEM earpads cost roughly 33% the cost of a new set of headphones, there was no way I was going to buy those - especially since the fell apart so quickly and completely. I think these are a much better option - I wish they were as thick as the originals (which is why they only get 4 stars instead of 5), but for the price they're comfy and work well. Hopefully they'll last longer than the earpads that came on the headphones.

Great for the HD-280 headphones on the cheap
I have acidic skin apparently- because I go through earpads about once a year. The original Sennheiser pads died out with a year's use. Then I got ones from TINKSKY, which these are identical to. These cheap Chinese copies are actually more durable than the Sennheiser originals! My first cheap replacement lasted constantly for two years. Expecting the same with these. Tricky to install, but slip on with some time to finagle them. Now my recording cans sound brand new! Recommended.

Terrible design
I found these replacement ear pads impossible to install. They are advertised as being for the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro, but they clearly do not fit my HD 280's. Perhaps Sennheiser has changed the design of this model, as mine is at least 12 years old. It doesn't help that no instructions are included, but it probably doesn't hurt much, either, as none of the many YouTubes explaining how to install these worked for me. So they're on their way back to Amazon.

Will not Fit Lifechat LX-3000 as stated
These earpads appeared to be good quality and came relatively quickly. However, they are about an inch larger than the earpads on the LifeChat headphones and so would not fit. Since the earpads attach by stretching a band over the rim of the earphone into a slot these would obviously not work as they were larger in diameter than the original. I believed them to be a good value and the material appeared comfortable to the touch but DO NOT purchase for the LifeChat headphones as they will not work. Easy return and refund from Amazon via UPS!
