I have an older, blue foam SnoBrum that is one step down form the Sno Pro I have used for several years. I just bought two of these SnoBrum Sno Pros, one for myself and one as a gift for someone else, because they are great for removing snow from vehicles. I keep it inside the house, just inside the door with an extending ice scraper for ice on windows. While they aren't good for removing snow from directly around windshield wipers or other similar hard and somewhat sharp features, they are fantastic for snow removal form the tops, hoods, windows, trunks, and sides of vehicles. It doesn't matter what the vehicle is made of, they will not scratch anything on the vehicle. They are vastly superior to using any kind of regular broom or extending snow/ice scrapers for pushing snow. With less than six inches of snow, one or two passes is all it takes and it is a lot easier than anything else, except a garage or carport. You'll still need an extending ice scraper with a brush for windows and around wipers. These are for SNOW only. If you suspect that there is a layer of ice under the snow, don't bear down on it. Ice, especially irregular surfaced or rough ice under the snow will scratch and tear small pieces away from the hard styrofoam-like edges of the SnoBrum. Even so, like my old blue SnoBrum I've had for years that shows these signs of use, they will still not scratch your car and will still remove snow. (Yeah, basically I have a spare now. Or maybe a loaner for a neighbor.) Once the layer of ice is loose form the surface by having the heat on inside the vehicle, you can shove it off. The handle screws into the head using a standard broom or extension pole size and thread so they will tend to unscrew. That isn't really a problem since all you have to do is set the head on the vehicle and give it a slight, easy twist once in a while. It also makes it easy to find replacement handles if needed. While some may be tempted to use an extension pole with the head to remove snow from a roof, I wouldn't recommend it it as it is likely to tear the foam. Window or porch awnings maybe, but not roofs. There are other products for that.

These things are better than the snow Joe or standard ones you find at the hardware store. New England snow ready. It stays in place and doesn’t just untwist in you so easily like other brands. The handle is solid, not worried about heavy snow breaking it! Use this at the house and pops loves it too

I am a big fan of the Sno Pro. In fact this is the second one I have purchased, the first one (purchased 7 years ago) got eaten by my dog. The Sno Pro is a fantastic tool for winter in New York state. It is perfect for quickly removing the snow off of any car without damaging the finish, but even better if you have a truck or SUV. I can't imagine how else my wife would manage to get all the snow off the top of her Pathfinder and out of its luggage rack otherwise. It is very durable, as I mentioned my previous one lasted over 7 years until it had a run-in with a hungry pitbull. Before its untimely demise it was still in near-new shape. It accepts standard threaded painters poles if you want to swap it out for a shorter or longer handle you can do so. This is helpful if you want to put an extendable handle so you can keep the Sno Pro in your trunk. I rated it 4 stars for convenience, durability, and quality. The only way it could be better is if it came with an extension handle.

I had a previous Snobrum for years. It worked really good provided you weren't to rough with it. It had a telescoping and adjustable pole within a pole system that was a bit weak and it flexed just enough to say be careful with me. This pro model is great with a really strong pole. The length is not adjustable but most people, even those with SUV's, won't need. Minor downside is that it is not as storable as its weaker counterpart. This one is a winner. One work of caution; this item is really meant for cleaning snow off smooth surfaces (cars & trucks). Use on a course surface will reduce the life span of the head.

I live in Buffalo NY where we tend to get serious winter weather (read lots of snow) that can be tiresome to remove with a small snow brush. The Snobrum Sno Pro is fantastic when it comes to removing snow (it better be for the price.....). I like that instead of bristles that move up and allow snow to stay underneath them, the foam blade acts as a soft shovel to push the snow off with out damaging the cars paint as well as actually removing the snow, not leaving pockets here and there. It is not a small tool, so expect to have to move around it if you have a small vehicle, but this baby can make a cold, long job of cleaning off the car into a quick relatively painless one. Bought this to clear camper roof of snow. I wish the handle was a bit longer but it works well. It is easy to storage since the pieces screw apart. Worth them money. May buy another for the cars. The length is great for cars but longer would be better for our camper.

I have black cars and newer cars and I didn't want the brush bristles to scratch. Y paint job. So I looked everywhere for this couldn't find it and of course I find it on Amazon! I should of ordered 2 just in case. Came pretty fast, just screw the handle in the head and all ready to go! Wish the handle was a bit longer, but over all very happy with my purchase!
