Works as advertised. Just what I needed.

It scanned 'once in a while' after jumping through hoops and just didn't work for a long time, sat on my desk. Maybe it works ok with PC's but even though it says it works with a Mac it doesn't seem very compatible. Bought it Jan. 22,2022 but honestly from the start it was bad and I just ignored sending it back. Oh well.

Works well for the most part, and the software is smart enough to crop and create multiple image files if needed. Taking off one star because when scanning multi-page PDFs the software will only make an image of the entire scanner bed - clumsy if you are scanning, say, multiple pages of a small booklet.

New in box but no longer supported by Canon. Bought it for covid19 home office and didn't work. Contacted office company computer service company and they were unable to connect the unit. The company service company tried calling Canon and was unable to talk to a human. Covid19 rip-off. Sale of out of date products.

The scanner was defective and couldn’t be installed by a professional I paid $120 for his service. Item has been returned to Amazon.
