Likes: * Much better filtration - comparable to the outer prefilter wrap of a typical HEPA filter. The finer mesh captures much finer particulate than the porous default foam sponge screen, and the activated charcoal helps attract and trap a modest percentage of other fine particulates and a modest amount of odors too. * Can be easily cut down to fit smaller units, or to fit other applications (ex: microwave oven air intake ports, garbage pail odor eaters, etc.). * Reasonable value. Nits: * The one minor advantage of the old foam filter was that it could be rinsed and reused, whereas this cannot and is intended to be disposable and replaced on a regular basis. Its not so much a nit as identifying a trade-off ... for better filtration you need disposable filters, instead of something reusable. Recommended.

I have a Friedrich Window air conditioner. I feel that these Premium Carbon Filters are the best you can buy. They fit perfect and really do the job capturing allergens and provide superior filtration. They absorb odors as well. I would not use any other filters. They do a great job and you can see how much pollutants were absorbed when it’s time to replace them.

I ordered these for a friend who has an old Friedrich window unit and he needed filters again. I had order some before off Amazon that were also universal but the thickness wasn't as good as these which are OEM. We weren't sure on the size but I did look it up using it of the website and they are uncut sheets.

Didn't fit exactly the size for the filters bit it was ok

I used this to replace the original filter which just basically blocks dust. This seems to be working fine, no issue on air flow.

It was delivered very fast and I just had to trim one inch with regular scissor and it fitted perfectly my wall air conditioner unit. It took me 5 minutes the whole process.

While they work very well, they are WAY OVERPRICED!. It is actually just a charcoal odor filter, which is part of a two layer dual stage filter. I only wish that the KUHL Air Conditioner worked half as well. Very disappointed in the air-conditioner, so the best filters in the world won't help.

These work great. They are optional for the Freidrich brand Kuhl air conditioner units but do make a difference. You get 3 in a pack, enough to get you through the summer. They remove pollen, cat odors, and food smells immediately from the air. Why settle for being cool and breezy when you can be cool, breezy and SO fresh!
