The writing is faint, but still easy to read, so I'll be careful what marks I put on in the future. However, I didn't knock off a star for that as the description did not state that you could use erasable markers on it. Only that it's waterproof. Great map for overview of Europe
I just opened up the map this evening. It lays fairly flat on the table. There's a lot on it, so the print is quite fine. That's to be expected when covering such a broad geographic area. It seems like it will be very durable. My one caveat, is that, on the recommendation of other reviewers, I used a dry erase marker on it to add some details. It did not remove cleanly. The writing is faint, but still easy to read, so I'll be careful what marks I put on in the future. However, I didn't knock off a star for that as the description did not state that you could use erasable markers on it. Only that it's waterproof.

Nice size with index
Nice, sturdy and a good size. I like the map and appreciate the index.

Very detailed but needs more ferry routes
It was a very detailed map however it would’ve been much more useful had it included more of the ferry routes especially in the Mediterranean.

National Geographic map of Europe
Was looking for a map of Europe. This is a nice one. Tear and waterproof. Has roads for car travel. Should be long lasting. Good quality.

Lots of detail
I love this map! The material is great for spills and tears. I bought it to plan my family’s Europe vacation. We spread it out over the dinner table and used an erasable marker on it to mark the locations we wanted to go to. We can always wipe it off if our plans change. The map had a ton of detail and is a great size for a family of 5 to crowd around and still be able to see. It was fun to plan a trip the old school way!

Decent Overview, Nice thick material
Needed a map to plan our vacation. It doesn’t have smaller roads as it’s covering many countries, but it’s a nice overview to get started with. Easy to wipe off highlighter and non-permanent marker. I’ll be purchasing some in one-country versions, too, so we can map out individual smaller roads.

Too congested
The map is too cumbersome to handle and quickly reference travel spots. It has too much detail in tiny print- returning it.

Europe on one page!
Actually it’s Europe on two pages, back to back. If planning a tour across several different countries this map makes that very easy to do. For fine tuning you will need individual maps of countries or areas. For big touring trips I like this map very much.

Good value paper map
Old school paper map. Print a bit small, puts a lot of info on a small piece of paper. Would not buy again.
