missing the Companion website
The product description says: "The companion website provides a complete operational model that can be customized to develop financial projections or arrange of other key financial measures, giving readers an immediately-applicable tool to facilitate effective decision-making" I can't find it in the ebook

Too simplistic.
Two thirds of the content covers simple excel usage techniques, while the remainder is at the introductory level for analyzing financial statements. The statistical methods employed for forecasting and modelling are rudimentary.

A truly, truly, truly bad book
I am very sorry to post a bad review but this is a truly, truly, truly bad book. I read it from beginning to end in hopes of finding at lease one good practical tip... but ultimately found none.

A must in Finance
This book is a step by step practical guide targeting post-graduate students and young FP&A professionals to which it can give an end-to-end view on the issues related to financial modelling. It would also be of interest to more experienced FP&A professionals that want to have a reference guide to topics that, although of extreme importance, are only rarely applied daily in FP&A departments, such Monte Carlo simulation covered in chapter 8. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to step foot into financial modeling as well as to gain proficiency in excel.

Excellent book
It is a great book. I like the fact that there are a lot of pictures supporting each step in the building process of the various parts of the model. I strongly recommend it if you are an analyst or new to financial modelling and want to learn not only how to build a model but how to present its findings. I also liked the model provided by the site of the book as it can be easily adjusted to someone’s own financial modeling situation.

Great book for more advanced users, specialising in the area of financial planning and forecasting. I wish I read it before :)

A rare book
A rare book, thanks to its practical character. A handbook for a CFO or any financial analyst who wants to 'get to the point', and start modelling next day. It also has a sound academic basis, without redundant theoretical information. The ideal mix of theory & practice!
