Brother Genuine DK-1204 Multipurpose Paper Label Roll, Die-Cut Paper Labels, Engineered for Excellence, 400 Labels Per Roll

The description said that it is for Brother QL-500 and QL-550 label printers but did not mention any others. But one of the 1-star reviews said that it did not fit his QL-710w label maker. I almost did not buy it. I then found a better description online somewhere else on the net. So, I ordered the labels. The labels work great I am happy to say.

Dear Folks - This 1204 is 17x54. 17mm x 54mm That's about a little bit over 1/2 inch by a little bit over 2 inches. Brother says that it's "2/3 inch x 2 1/8 inch" Well whatever. It's 17 x 54 anyway. And I like it. This is the smallest label I've bought for my new QL-700 label printer. This size folks is just fine for a small file-folder label. If you don't really have to print your mothers maiden name and your whole life history on it. Sweet little label this 1204 is. 400 labels per roll. Last roll I bought figured out to 2.6 cents per label. And they are certainly worth it to me. Just such a neat and clean-looking little label. I just buy the Brother brand. Heck - they built the absolutely great little label printer in the first place. They have for me just the best online support at their website. I'm inclined to support them as long as they will support me as nicely as they do. As good as they do. Brother is a good company. Let's help them to keep on doing a good job for us. I originally had a labelmaker from Brother from years ago that finally gave out so I replaced it with the new computer connected label printer. As with most products the "new features" only add to lack of ease of use. It is no longer simply "plug in and print". There are too many options for home use. I think this was really designed for small office use rather than home use. Overall it is a good product (I'm talking about the print roll and the label printer as a whole) but they need to come up with a simpler home use label printing system.

Used for printing new address labels. Wide enough for 4 lines and a small graphic. Recommended.

I can't believe I have been paying twice as much for this label for the past two years from U-Line. Add to the fact I had to purchase two at a time with them. U-lines shipping costs were crazy expensive. I use these for my bar code machine for my store. Perfect size. Great price with Amazon and I have it fast with Prime. The fact that I can buy one box at a time when I need it at not have to buy more than I need makes this a win win win for me.

Works as expected with a Brother QL-500 P-Touch label printer.

The item arrived as specified and works like a charm. I only buy and use Brother labels in my Brother QL-500 label printers (I have three), because I've had too many problems with Brand X labels. Brother labels are a little pricy, but I guess you get what you pay for.
