Ivanka Trump Women's Kayden Pump

Let me preface my review with the statement that I will purchase a product due to its quality, not for the name on the box. It's got nothing to do with politics and I couldn't care less who her father is. I just really like these shoes! These are lovely pumps and surprisingly comfortable for such high heels. This is my 3rd pair (2 suede and 1 patent leather), owned for over one year, so I can safely say the following:Pros:1. Color - no fading or uneven color of the suede. It still looks beautiful. Of course, I am very careful not to wear them in the rain so the suede stays nice. I have black suede and royal blue suede, both of which still look great.2. Durability - With many of my other heels, the plastic piece on the end of the heel tends to wear down to the metal "nub" and then they have to be repaired. I have not experienced this issue with any of my Ivanka heels. The plastic end piece is quite substantial so it doesn't seem to be wearing down quickly. And I wear these a LOT. Additionally, there is no sign of separation of the top material from the sole.3. Comfort - surprisingly comfortable for such a high heel. However, the toe box, like most pumps, is narrow. I would not recommend these for anyone with bunions as the toes do get a bit squished. I wear these shoes at work and when I'm sitting at my desk I take them off to let my toes wiggle.4. Fit - these are true to size. I wear a 8.5 street shoe and these fit perfectly in 8.5. However, when purchasing patent leather, I'll probably go up to a 9. See comment below.Cons:1. thin sole - the sole is quite thin so if I walk with these for too long, the ball of my foot gets sore. There's very little protection for the ball of your foot. I could put in inserts but then the shoes won't fit. So, if you want to get those gel or padded inserts to help cushion your foot, I'd suggest going up a half size.2. Patent Leather - the patent leather is very pretty. But because I have 2 pair suede pumps and 1 pair patent leather, I definitely notice a difference in the fit. The suede has a little bit of "give" and flexibility. The patent leather does not. This doesn't affect the quality of the shoe. Just something to know. Next time I order a pair in patent leather, I'll go up to a size 9 to see if that helps. I can still wear the 8.5 but they are a bit tighter than the suede because the material isn't as flexible. But, on the plus side, the patent leather doesn't stretch out as much or fast as suede. I absolutely love suede, but after about a year they have started to stretch a bit. Bottom line, if buying suede, stick to your regular size but if ordering patent leather, you might consider going up a 1/2 size.All in all these are fabulous pumps and I'll be buying my 4th pair in the near future - I just can't decide which color!

I can't say enough good things about these shoes and this brand. Ivanka Trump's shoe line puts most if not all the other moderately priced shoe brands to shame. Very modern, classic, high end design, genuine leather (faux leather is a deal breaker for me) and an extremely affordable price point. Her line proves that moderately priced shoes can still have high level design and an affordable price. These pumps look like shoes I've bought at stores like Barney's in the past for several hundred dollars. They fit me true to size and have a slightly padded footbed (comfy) and they are surprisingly easy to walk in. A 4 inch heel that is easy to walk in!?! What more could I ask for? I don't usually like celebrity brands (I like my celebrities separate from my designers) BUT when I saw Ivanka's collection at Nordstrom a year or two ago, I was so impressed with the design, quality and value that it won me over. Its a shame that Nordstrom, Neimans, et al, have dropped her line due to their politics. It's not fair to their customers who want to have access to her products. I've noticed that most of the moderately priced shoe companies have downgraded almost everything to faux leather yet still charge genuine leather prices, totally unacceptable, I refuse to buy faux leather shoes (they make your feet sweat, are not durable or comfortable for me). At least Ivanka is giving her clientele the best design and quality for the money. Made in China (like most other brands) or not, these shoes are major quality for a minor price tag. I LOVE THEM and am buying several more pair.

I must say that these shoes are true investment shoes. They are beautiful, classic and comfortable.True story: One day my feet were tired and I decided i wanted a more comfy "professional" shoe. I stopped by DSW store. Inside, I walked past Ivanka Trump's Kayden shoes and wondered "what makes her shoes so darn special?" Out of curiosity I tried the black leather pumps on...My feet were thanking me for trying on those shoes...Seriously! I never thought high heels could feel this amazing ! I did not want to take them off. They hugged my feet like a guy would on a first date.. Yes, my feet and those shoes had instant chemistry!That night I ordered the black AND red patent on Amazon for cheaper. I've wore them for several months and I have received compliments from women of all ages. Also, they are true to size. I do warn that the patent leather are slightly more snug than the regular leather... But fear not, they do stretch perfectly. I love them. If u want comfort right out from the shoebox, buy the regular leather. Your feet will say hallelujah.

These shoes are so elegant and beautiful! The height is just right and doesn't put all the stress on your toes like most heels.The only down side is they don't have a non slip inside. I would add a non slip insert.

Comfortable everyday work pump. Basically the perfect shape and her height. Two things though, first it scuff easily, and second they make a little squeak noise when I walk. I only noticed this when I was walking down a hallway and it was quiet. Otherwise, these are a good everyday shoe for the price.

I bought the patent black size 7. I don't agree with those reviewers who said go a 1/2 size down. It fit true to size.This is the most sleek and sophisticated pump I have owned to date. When I received them I tried them on and did not want to take them off. They were comfortable though they looked quite high.I wore them for twenty minutes and there was no pain. I will wear them soon for work and give a more detailed review.****this is added by way of update, i wore my pair of shoes for the entire day today. i got various compliments but most importantly they were very comfortable. i walked outside of the office on the main streets with them as well and as i type i still have them on. you will not regret purchasing this shoe and i hope to add more to the collection. perfect black pumps.
