Great book! :)
Katie Alender is a really good author for teenage girls and this is a really great book! It is written in first person, which, in my opinion, makes a book much better. Once you start reading it, you can't put it down! You really come to know and love all the characters and the descriptions of everything are exceptional; you feel like you are actually there! It is very suspenseful and scary, but not too scary to not want to read. Katie Alender is a wonderful author and is great at telling you things without you really realizing what it is, so you can make the connection when it is further explained. I would (and have) recommend this book to anyone, teenager or not! I read it and I am 13, and my 17 year old cousin enjoys the books just as much as I do. I read this book in two days- it is so good!!! I can't wait for the next book in the Bad Girls Don't Die series, Katie Alender is my favorite author! :) visit [...] for more information on the upcoming book in the series and to watch the book trailers!

Was it all real?
Was it all real? Our success in high school? Our fast rise to the top of our job? Wow! That was spooky. Good read, good plot. Had no idea where this was going but, i followed along and was presently surprised to find myself scared, again! I loved it!!

Auh-Mazing xD
I loved this book it was terrifying yet beautiful they way the author describes the characters feelings made feel scared yet intrigued. When I started to read this book it was a shock of wanting to keep reading and reading to find what happens to Alexis and Katie it was a heartbreaking book yet it filled me with sacredness and I connected to Alexis and most of the girls because all they wanted was to be pretty and popular and every teenage girl wants that I'm a teenage girl and reading this book taught me it's ok to not be perfect cause perfect is boring so I advise everyone to buy this book it is sooooooooooooo worth the money but beware u won't be able to sleep for a few nights because u will be scared I was

... don't even know how to put in words how awesome this book is
I don't even know how to put in words how awesome this book is. It is part of a trilogy and each book has a different supernatural haunting, but everything is tied together! The story has the perfect amount of suspense and mystery. I read the whole series super fast 'cause the story was so awesome!

Suspenseful
I loved the first book in the series, and this one left me in suspense with every page. I think that this one definitely was great continuation of the story. I couldn't stop reading the second I started. Every page I was saying "OMG" or making an OMG connection or just saying "No Alexis! Don't!" Pretty much every page there was a moment that caught me off guard and I was dying to know what happened next.

Not quite as good
As soon as I finished Bad Girls Don't Die I started this book. While not quite as good, I still enjoyed it. Although I found myself wonder after what happened before how could they mess with the supernatural again. This time it is Alexis not Kasey who gets in over her head. The thing is she did it because she wanted to save her sister. I can't say as I blame her after seeing what she gets out of the deal. Yet I had to wonder if Alexis didn't really want a bit more for herself. So in this book for me the tables were turned, with both sisters working to save the other. There were some interesting twists in the plot that kept me on my toes. I have to say that while I did like this book, I enjoyed the first one more. Though I'm looking forward to reading the third book and seeing what happens.

(This review can also be found on my blog [...]). After reading the first book in this series, Bad Girls Don't Die, I knew I had to read From Bad to Cursed. I must admit that I was a bit wary of reading the next book as usually sequels aren't as good as the first book. However, all my worrying was in vain. This book turned out to be amazing just like the first. Alexis and her little sister are back in this second book in the Bad Girls Don't Die series. Alexis is still worried about Kasey who has been in home for the mentally unstable. Kasey has come back home, and Alexis will do anything to keep Kasey safe. So when Kasey starts becoming more beautiful and starts making tons of new friends, including her sword enemy, Alexis gets suspicious. Alexis learns that Kasey is involved in a club called the Sunshine Club. However, the club isn't as nice as the name suggests. Alexis joins this club to find out what Kasey has gotten herself into this time. However, it soon becomes apparent that Alexis is in way over her head. From Bad to Cursed is a good title for this book. In the story, things definitely go from bad to cursed so I can see why the author chose this title. The cover of From Bad to Cursed looks incredibly creepy, not as much as the first book in the series, but still creepy. I'm not sure who's supposed to be on the cover. I thought it might be Kasey, but Alexis is more dominant in this story, so he could possible be Alexis. However, it still could be any member of the Sunshine Club. I do love the cover of this book, but just like Bad Girls Don't Die, I don't feel that it really gives much away about the story. Again, Katie Alender is spot on with the world building! She makes you feel like you are experiencing everything that Alexis is. Alender makes you feel as if you're part of the Sunshine Club for this story. Everything just feels so realistic which is fantastic! This is another book where I enjoyed the pacing very much. It was hard for me to put this book down to do anything else. Reluctantly, I did have to put this book down for some time, but as soon as I had free time, I was reading it again. This is such a fast paced story that you will not even notice the minutes flying by. The wording in From Bad to Cursed is fantastic. It is easy to understand, and I also appreciate the fact that the teenagers speak like teenagers and not like the teens out of Dawson's Creek. I didn't notice any swear words, so fear not. The dialogue flows quite nicely. All the characters in this book are all well developed with their each individual personalities. Alexis is a fantastic main character. I think everyone can relate to her in some way. I love Kasey!! I love how vulnerable she comes across as. She also comes across as being a bit more strong in this book. I love how she's grown. We also get to learn a bit more about Lydia in this story which I appreciated. However, Carter isn't mentioned too much in this story although he's still in it. The whole plot in this book was well executed. It's a fantastic idea for a book. This book has me looking forward to the next book in the series, As Dead As It Gets. In fact, I ended up buying it today before I had even finished From Bad to Cursed. That's how much I love this whole series. I'd recommend this book to everyone aged 13+. It is amazing!

Still reading this book and I have been enjoying every part of it! Creepy, emotional and exciting what more can you want from a book? After reading the first book I knew that this would be just as great. I would really recommend this book to anyone who enjoys horror.

I loved the book but I didn't like that Megan loved and trusted adult and I wished she would've helped Alexis to get rid of him
