Great CD or DVD storage!
I have a huge CD collection and wanted to consolidate it. I got rid of the plastic cases and put the CDs and liner notes in this storage book. I have six books now and they look good on the shelf. They look like vintage books with leather spines. You can even write on the label on the spine. They are very functional and the perfect size! I would recommend these highly!

Beautiful way to store DVDs with high quality, no-slip inserts.
I love these. I have an extensive DVD movie collection. I used these to condense the space needed to house the collection. The DVDs fit into the slots perfectly - there is no slippage or sliding. In some cases, I put 2 DVDs in one slot and it also holds perfectly. Please note, you would not be able to double up on both sides of the insert. The books are very attractive. I've read where some people felt tricked by the specialty inserts needed. I did not. First, the DVDs fit the slots perfectly - the inserts are a high quality design. Second, I read the reviews complaining that you had to purchase the inserts specifically designed for this book. So, I knew before I bought them that they required the specific inserts. I do not agree that it is overpriced. Sometimes you get what you pay for and I find this product is exactly that. It is a good price for the quality you receive. I bought 2 originally to try it out. I was so pleased, I bought 4 more (I have a lot of DVDs). The biggest difficulty I have with these is adjusting to picking out a movie to watch. I made an index for my movies but it just isn't the same as staring at jewel cases... Still, instead of a wall of jewel cases, I have 6 beautiful books on one shelf.

Beautiful space saver!
I couldn't part with my dvds, but they take up too much space. THIS is the solution! I love a beautiful bookcase, and this 'book' looks fantastic while holding a great number of discs! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of cost- a little costly as compared to other disc management systems but it is really lovely.

Good.
Excellent product, altough I wish it was smaller so it would fit on shelves better.

Will Hold 48 DVD'S/CD'S without cover art.
I really like the look and construction of the binder. It looks like a an old vintage hardbound book when it sits on the shelf. I bought it to eliminate the DVD plastic cases to create more space and it worked perfectly. It comes with the sleeves to hold 2 discs a sleeve on each side, front and backside so 4 total a sleeve. It will hold 24 discs and 24 of the discs corresponding box art sleeve which you can fold and put in the 2nd slot or if you don't care about the box art sleeve it will hold 48 discs which I ended up doing and it eliminated so much space by getting rid of the plastic cases. I might buy another one for CD's.

Attractive and well made storage for physical media
I liked the look and feel of the product. It looks rich on my bookshelf and take very little space as opposed to storing Blu-ray and DVDs in the jewel cases. It provides easy access and the ability to easily index movies by type. I have purchased 6 of these and they have replaced an entire wall of movie cases. Each album is titled by movie type, drama, action, adventure, romantic comedy, documentary. It makes it easy for guests to find exactly the movie they want. I have printed an alphabetical index and numbered each page. I would definitely purchase this again. It even have an edition for video games.

Customizing Spine Label is Impossible
The binder is beautiful. I'm pretty sure it's genuine leather on the spine unless they managed to use a faux leather that smells like the real thing. Everything looks and works as intended...except for the spine where you place a label for the contents. The spine label frame is a metal, ornate square that appears to be attached to the body of the binder with little Phillips-head screws. Because of the shape on this spine, I was unable to slide the label it came with out or slide a label I made (using their template) in. So, I grabbed a small screwdriver and removed the screws to remove the plate, put in a label and screw it back on. Easy. But no. The screws are not actually attached to anything sturdy. I can't tell for certain, but I think they may have been glued in (which is fine!) for this application IF you didn't have to remove the plate to get a different label into it. The faux bind stitch bumps on the spine make it impossible to do that. The problem is that since the screws aren't functional in reality, they won't go back in securely once you've taken them out. SO...On the cognac binder, I literally cannot replace the label without removing the label frame (which then cannot be replaced) and so there's no point. It's ruined unless I can find some glue that will hold--which is another shopping trip or order to place, and I'm pretty miffed about it. For 24 dollars, I would have expected better than an oversight like this.

Itโs definitely nice to look at but probably pricier than its worth. If it was a tiny bit cheaper Iโd buy a bunch.
