These came quickly and worked as advertised. They are a tiny bit smaller than I expected, but the picture online didn't have a frame of reference, so that's probably my fault. Nonetheless I am using these to hold down stock for woodworking and they work perfectly. Can't beat the price and they work flawlessly. Great deal.

These things are tiny. The picture doesn't really do the small size justice and I didn't pay close enough attention to the dimensions in the posting. Luckily I they were cheap enough I ordered enough that I was able to make them work, but I was expecting something a bit heavier duty. When in the locked position they are about 3" long, from end to end. To give you an idea of size, I could probably fit four or five of them in an empty cigarette pack. If you have requirements for something sturdy that will hold up for a long time, look for the heavier duty version. I guess I'm really just saying, pay attention to the full description and dimensions so you fully understand what you're ordering.

I was surprised by how small they were. I know, I know - READ THE SPECS.... which I did, and they are still surprisingly small.So far they are strong for their size, and work really well for 'small parts' - which was an unanticipated but pleasant surprise.I'll order another set of LARGE clamps, read the specs better next time, and continue to use these in a limited application.Did I say they were Small? Keep that in mind. Strong and Tiny.

I was surprised at how small they were so you won't be here is the dimensions. As they are pictured they measure 3" lengthwise. The screw is 1.1875 in length. They seem to be well made and sturdy and would be good for doing small things but I would not use them to hold parts to machine such as a jig for a router table. I think they are good for smaller uses. I used mine to build a jig to hold some small plastic signs that I needed to hold still with I applied vinyl graphics to and I thought they were perfect and I already have some more little projects in mind to use them for but what I intended them for was to build a few jigs for my router table and table saw but I will look for bigger ones now. If you have a use then the price is right. They arrived from China. They were all in new condition and did not look like they were affected by moisture or salt water. They are individually packaged in pairs in plastic bags. For what they are I still give them a five.

First of all, let me explain why I purchased these. I was looking for clamps to add to my table saw sled as something to hold down material I was cutting. I did not need the 600 lb force clamps, just something to hold down what I was cutting. So instead I purchased these thinking 60lbs of force was plenty. They look identical in the picture to the 600lb ones.Now stop and read the description. They are the size of a quarter.So shame on me for not reading the description. I have no idea what you would use these for, but they serve no purpose for me in woodworking.So I took of a star because while the image provided was not misleading, it certainly isn't helping to clarify the size of them at all. The second star was lost because they ship from China and it took far longer than the promised 3-7 business days to ship as a prime member (living in Hawaii). I seriously doubt anyone stateside would receive these in the promised 2 day prime shipping.

The clamps are not very big, so they are handy for delicate clamping jobs. They make a nice addition to their larger cousins when building jigs. They also have enough holding strength that they work well on jigs that are only used for one size part. You can build up the mount to let you clamp a larger piece then the clamp would normally grip. This can be especially important when you do not have room for a larger clamp.

So small it borders absurdity. If you have a need to clamp laminate maybe this will work for you. I was going to take a reference photo of them but I can't find them in the junk drawer and can't be bothered -they're that small.I bought these thinking I was going to mount these to my workbench or desk area, but they probably will end up as a good solution for a table saw sled for clamping down thin material.I can think of no good reason usage of these would be superior to normal sized clamps on your workbench.

My first impression was shock at the size. The specs list a force in pounds, then the dimensions, and I just failed to pick up the "cm" on the dimensions. Mindset was in IP. So I'm knocking a star off in some kind of revenge emotion.Will they work? I plan to use them to hold a piece (usually 3/4" thick wood) onto a sled, then cut the piece on my table saw. Once I got past my shock, I did some measuring, and the workpiece can be 0--1/2" thinner than the jig. Since the jig will be 3/4, and I work almost exclusively on 3/4, these clamps should work fine. For thicker pieces, I can shim under the clamp.Now, my thought is: how do they make these so cheaply? At about a buck apiece, it seems an unbelievable deal. I have not yet installed them, but the action (moving the lever) seems to work well.
