A great find for millennials who still hold a love for classic 80s/90s animation. A great dose of nostalgia with a beloved story and characters. Recommend getting She-Ra with it as there are several crossover episodes between the 2 series

Trip down memory lane, with the new movie coming out, I can share the original with my kids first.

The DVD set is better than what is currently offered via streaming. The streaming version has de-interlace issues. Either they didn't de-interlace the video or they did it wrong because jagged edges are very noticeable throughout each episode. Playing the DVD's actually de-interlace the video as it should and looks much better. If you were trying to decide whether or not to go with streaming or the DVD set, pick the DVD set.As for the product itself, I am happy to have this in my collection. They don't make cartoons like this where there is a lesson learned in each episode and explained at the end of the cartoon for young children. The She-Ra set is good too.

My son loves all things retro and absolutely loves this cartoon!!

Good memories

I bought this while on sale, so I decided to keep it as I was offered to return it without without chance of replacement (only offered money back) and I bought it for 50% of the price while on a temporary sale. 1 ) it was advertised on swedish Amazon mentioning nothing about being an American region locked dvd. 2 ) it arrived in a cardboard envelope, and as it is a heavy set on so many discs inside a plastic case, it came with big cracks in the case and a tear on the sleeve. However the discs were not affected, and I just want all the episodes so I decided to keep it but very disappointed that the seller shipped it with so little care and protection. So beware if you don't have a region free player, and be aware it might arrive damaged. It's a heavy set, a beautiful one.

its my fault reallythis boxset is actually region locked, nothing about that is mentioned once you purchase it...too bad for me, i opened it, assuming it'd be good to go, but alas... region locked.i guess i need to buy an all region dvd player now
