Got our grill perfectly!

Appears to be good quality. All hardware was included. Everything fit together perfectly. Just required a little bit of tuning.

Update: I am into our 2nd summer using the grill with all these parts. Everything is still working like new. No chipping on the grates, or rust on the bolts or chrome grill. I recommended this set for the other 2 friends who have the same grill as I do when they want to upgrade. The hard part was removing the corroded, rusted parts that had to be taken off. Once I got that done and the grill cleaned up, installing the pieces were easy and an exact fit. The best thing was when it was time to fire it up, it started the first try.

All the parts fit very well and seem to be up to the quality of the original factory parts. My only complaint is that the fasteners are a bit smaller than the original ones. Everything is stainless and included washers but I had a bit of difficulty handling and threading the tiny nuts on with my large carpenter hands, lol. Other than that, I should be able to get a few more years out of my grill for under $100. Great deal.

items as described. able to replace badly needed parts. my grill was so rusted, had to work at removing the rusted parts. otherwise great.

The problem with this kit is that on the version of the Chargriller 3001 that I have, the heat plate supports are welded onto the grill body, not held in place by screws. To replace the supports with the ones supplied, I will have to somehow remove the welded on supports, then drill holes to accept the screws. I haven't done this in the time since I purchased the kit but now with the old supports no longer working, I will have to. Everything else is top notch, fits and works as expected.
